Big Day at Ao4 HQs

Tail wags, all! It's me, Stormy. Today is a big day here at Ao4 Headquarters.

Today's the day, isn't it, Mom? Ammy, you remember, don't you?

Yes, it is, Storm! Today's the day!

GREAT! Everysibe get in here for a group photo! Especially you, Zim!

To mark the occasion, I called all the troops into the kitchen for a group photo. That's right - a group photo! Some things are so special that even I am willing to pose for a picture or two, and to get my pack-mates to cooperate, as well!

Reporting in, Storm. But why 'especially' me?

Zim was trying his best to remember, but it hadn't hit him yet!

That's right! Especially you! Everysibe fall in!

It's not my honorary birthday...

I got everyone into the kitchen and had them start getting into formation.

Come on, everysibe! On my command, everysibe sit. Now... sit!

We all did our best to look serious (just because we felt like it), and I told Mom to go ahead and take the picture.

The occasion? No... it's not Zim's honorary birthday. That's back in January. Today is ...his Gotcha Day! His Homecoming! His ZIMAVERSARY!!!

That's right - eight years ago today, I gave birth to* a rather sad, scared, starved year-and-a-half-old puppy - our ZIM! And Ammy adopted him as her very own littermate! We all knew there was a very special pup in there somewhere - and we choose to celebrate who he is now!

For those doing the math and know that Dave is older than Zim... Dave was adopted 5 months after Zimmie - that's why he isn't in those older posts!

Please join us in celebrating today! Do some of Zim's favorite things - go for a cool adventure, have a nap in the sunshine, do some zoomies, play neck grabbies, hang out on the deck, watch bipeds work, make friends with someone of another species, and have some of your favorite treats! Today is a great day!

*Note from the Ao4's mom: Stormy didn't exactly give birth to Zim. He was about 1 1/2 years old when we adopted him. But she thinks she did, and given her devotion to him, I would never think to argue the case with her.
