It Worked!

Woo, everypup and everycat!  It's me, Dave.  So ... yesterday, after I put up my post of me with my "Think Snow" pillow, I admit I was a bit blue.  I mean, we haven't seen snow (or rain, for that matter) since I can't remember.  Something about being in a "severe drought".  I'm not sure, I just know that a bit of snow would really be nice!  And so ... as I just wrote ... I was a bit blue.

Zim, being the best kid brother a guy could ask for, tried to cheer me up:

"Let's play, Davy-Dave!"

He gave me one of his signature play bows and I just couldn't resist!

"Woo!"

Mom kept saying something about "Santa's watching" and "Be good" and stuff like that ... but we were having too much fun to listen.  She was probably just cheering us on, according to Zim!

He convinced me not to worry about the lack of snow issue and said that posing with that pillow would most likely insure that we'd get some snow.  Or that it couldn't hurt.

We all slept in this morning - Zim went out first, sometime around 0500 or so, and this is what he saw:

"Wowzers!  That pillow pose worked!"

He came in and woke me up - and I just couldn't believe it!  The pillow pose actually worked!

After a quick trip out to go potty, then a nice breakfast, we all went on a family walk.  Here are a few pix for your viewing pleasure:

There was (and still is) a lot of blowing (30-40 mph winds), so there is a lot of drifting.  (Check out our tails in that photo above!)

"It's not deep here, but it's icy!"

There's a layer of ice under everything, which makes it super slippery!

Mom and Dad are glad they don't have to drive anywhere today!

Me!  In snow!

So, there you have it!  The pillow pose worked!  So any of you who are looking for some lovely snow to hit your area, just snuggle up with a "Think Snow" pillow and wish real hard!  Woo!

Luv,
Dave
