It's a little thing we call Siberian Rules Fetch, and it goes like this: have your biped throw a toy for you (ball, disc, Wubba ... anything will do!), then ... (roll tape!) ...

And repeat as desired! You get some exercise, your biped gets some exercise ... it's a win-win! Bonus points if you make her (or him) run uphill!

Apparently bipeds tire out much faster than Siberian Huskies. Anyway, it's a great time-filler between morning and afternoon walks! What fun!

ReplyDeletethat's hilarious.... Daiquiri has a version of those rules that involves, chase the toy - bring it back - chase the toy - bring it back and drop it just far enough away that mom has to get up

ReplyDeleteboth my litter boxes are upstairs. I make sure I go upstairs a lot. And mom follows...she will not leave 'waste' in the box more than a nano second if she can help it. Sometimes I do nuttin' in it so she has to run upstairs for nuttin

I make mum or dad let me out, then let me in, then let me out, then let me in. It's good exercise for them to get off the couch!

OMD, gurl, I think that Siberian Fetch could also be called Airedale Fetch! I DO THE SAME THINGIE!!! BOL!!! I make Ma chase ME, and never give the ball up unless she just stands there for like 3 minutes, then I gives it up. We don't have any hills, butts I make Ma chase me around the whole backyardie! oh the funs....

I love to play with tennis balls and get my biped to throw them for me. I don't bring them back to her, she has to catch me and wrestle the ball from my mouth as I run past ! Being a mature Lab, there's a limit to how often I'll play, and after three or four games I'll just tell her "you want it - you fetch it" !
