My Favorite Day!!!!

Greetings to all! It's me, Mags! My favorite day of the year came a little early, as Ragnar and I helped our mom pack up some special packages for friends and family. Here's a shot for you:

Christmas 2022

From our house to yours, we all wish you a most blessed and merry Christmas!

And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. My New Favorite

Hi everybody! It's me, Ragnar. As Mags mentioned yesterday, we have a new tree. I LOVE this tree!

 

"Hi, Mom.  I'm just laying here by the tree like a good boy!"
"You ARE a good boy!!!"

Lots of room for ornaments, lots of pretty lights, doesn't stick out into our traffic pattern for zoomies ... it's just perfect.

 

"So peaceful!  I love it!"
"❤❤ Oh, Raggi!!! ❤❤"

It's my new favorite thing!  Mom doesn't quite know what to make of my infatuation, but I just love looking at it!

Siberian Detector

Greetings to all! It's me, Mags. A couple years ago, the bigger of our Christmas trees bit the dust (I had nothing to do with it!). We had been making do with our smaller ones - but this year, Mom and Dad decided to spring for a new tree! Guess what went on the tree first?!? Or should I ask, "Who went on the tree first?!?"

"I see you up there!!!"
"Oh.  Uh ... hi, Mags."

Sock Monkey! I'm so glad he got to come out of hiding! Oh, and I know what you're thinking! "How are you and Ragnar going to resist temptation? How will Sock Monkey be safe up there!?!" I had to let Ragnar in on some Ao4 lore ... the story of the item formerly known as the Zim Detection Device ... then the Maggie Motion Monitor ...

 

"Yeah, yeah, Mom.  'Every time a bell rings, a Siberian is too close to the tree.'  As if I need that ..."
"Is that a line from 'It's a Wonderful Siberian'?"

... and now it is simply the Siberian Detector.

So ... anytime I might get "too close" to say ... Sock Monkey or one of these other old "friends" ...

 

"Do you think we're up high enough?"
"Oh, I hope so!"

... DING, DING, DING goes that bell! It also protects fragile new friends, like this guy our Aunt Janet sent:

How cool is that?!?!

So ... Raggi and I really like the new tree. In fact, we REALLY love it; Ragnar especially, for some reason. We were more than happy to pose by it:

Our "New" Favorite Show

Hi everybody! It's me, Ragnar. Mags and I have a favorite new show, only Mom says it's not really new -- just new to me and Mags. It's called "Perry Mason" and it's a great detective/lawyer show!

 

"Shh!  Raggi!  Perry's about to do something BIG!"
"You already know who did it, don't you!?!?  How do you do that?!?!"

Perry's good, but Mags is always one step ahead of everybody!

First Of The Season!

Greetings to all!  It's me, Mags!  We've already had lots of firsts this season - frost, hard freeze, SNOW, and today ... we got to go the The Top Of The World!!!

We got to go through the woods to get there:

Hi everybody! It's me, Ragnar. Mags and I took our mom and dad on a nice walk this morning. We got to go down Labby Road -- you know, where lots of our Labrador friends live - and Mom spotted some sunflowers at the end of the trail.  She wanted us to pose in front of them, of course.

 

"Mags?!?  Ragnar?!?"
"Are any of the Labs watching, Ragnar?"
"Goldie's out ... and that really tall puppy who lives with Blondie."

"Oh, c'mon, you two!  Please?!?  I have COOKIES!!!"
"I'll smile, but -- oh, hey, Goldie!  Hope you and your pack had a nice Labra Day weekend!"
"Did you say COOKIES?!??"

Mags faced Mom for a split second while I licked my lips in anticipation of a COOKIE, then ...

"That was -- no, wait!  Mags?!?  I missed it!"
"Sorry, Mom.  Bad timing."
"Hi, Mom."

At least we were both smiling -- right?!?  Mags says timing is everything.

Photo Finish Friday

Greetings to all! It's me, Mags. We were going to share just one shot of us posing on our walk this morning, but Mom said we did SUCH a great job, and took so many, that I thought I'd share a bunch! Let's take a look!

Once up top, we did a bunch more walking, then stopped for a water break on a limestone wall. We thought we'd strike a pose or two there, too!

Only A Matter Of Time

Greetings to all! It's me, Mags. I'm just having a little training session here in the living room with Ragnar. About what, you might wonder? Refrigerators! You see, we just had to replace ours. The one that just went kaput had the ice and water dispenser on the inside - basically because one of our great sisters (Ammy!) knew how to help herself. What a smart, smart girl!  So I was filling Ragnar in on what I learned through the Ao4 chronicles ...

 

"And that's how she did it, Raggi!"
"So wait ... all she had to do ..."

Due to supply chain issues, Mom and Dad chose the only fridge that would fit and that they wouldn't have to wait several months for.  Here she is:

 

"This is going to be so fun!"
"We'll have this figured out in no time!"

Yep.  It just HAPPENS to have a very accessible ice and water dispenser.  It's only a matter of time.
