A Blinding Flash of the Obvious

Ha roo, pups and cool cats - it's me, Zim!  Hey, remember the other day when I told you there were going to be lots of changes around here?  Apparently, Phase One has begun.  Notice anything different in the foyer?

Compare it to the photos in this post.

That's right:  mini blinds on the sidelight windows. It's not that bad, though. They only go about half-way down.

The best seat in the house!

See? I still have a great view from my Sitzbank. Then it hit me. They could probably be lowered.

"Uh - oh..."

Yep. Lowered. Yeah, well ... I can get lower, too.

Hmm... Not a great view, but I can still see out.

Then Mom had the audacity to ask me how I like the new blinds. How I "like" them?

"How do I like them?!?"

In a blinding flash of the obvious, Mom realized I wasn't exactly thrilled.

I won't give up my post, though!  And  I will not allow this to affect my ability to perform my watch dog duties!  Or ...

"Zzzz..."

... to catch a few Zs.

The rest of the impending changes better be better than this one!

Play bows,
Zim

  1. oooh the cheek of humans sometimes! Honestly, trying to impede your watchdog duties by putting up blinds! What was your mom thinking? watchdog duties are so important! I'm glad you can kind of still see out tho!

  3. Well if you can't be a watch dog, you should at least be able to take a nap!

  4. Howdy,

My friend, Mandy, obliterated her humans blinds when they left her alone for several hours! She did a really good job on them, too! Ha ha ha, they looked really funny. For some reason, her humans, weren't laughing. I guess you better leave the blinds alone, too.

  5. We know just how you feel, Zim! Our mom puts up her "winter" curtains that cover more of the windows in our house to keep out drafts and keep in the heat, so she says! We hate them for the same reason that you do!

    Love ya lots

  6. I can't believe your mum would just put blinds like that in. Did she get Stormy's permission first? I bet she didn't.

  8. Well, at least you can still see out even if you need to go lower on the Sitzbank. It's important to be able to keep up your guard duties from all pawsitions!

  9. Oh no Zim, there goes your room with a view. Maybe they will be up most of the time.

Change is not good for us Huskies although humans keep forcing it upon us.

  10. Did they even run these changes past you first, Zim? You'd think they need approval from the proper authorities!

  13. I think the napping part is more important than the watching part. But, that's just me.

Besides, that's an awesome post to nap!
