Photo Finish Friday

Tail wags, dear readers!  It's me - Stormy - here with Photo Finish Friday.  Before I get started, kudos to Fiona and Teddy for figuring out Ammy's pictorial riddle.  All the guesses were really great, but here it is - Dad's brother is currently posted in Iraq with the State Department and is coming to visit us for the weekend!  Get it?  Wednesday's photo was Ammy and a rock.  A rock ... Iraq ... ?!?  File any complaints with the Yammer; let's get on to Photo Finish Friday!

Dad was going to take the redheads on an extra walk the other day because it was sunny, chilly and just beautiful out.  That is ... he was going to take just the two of them until Dave and I laid a case of the guilts on him by doing the
Sad Eyes Look.  It's useless to try to resist us; all 6 of us headed out the door together! Mom tried to take some group photos; I've got the best of the bunch for you today!  Let's go!

On the home-stretch, Mom handed my and Dave's leads to Dad and jumped out in front to take some photos. Here's the best that she got:

Zim was checking for
Calico Kitty.  Dad thought the photo shoot would go better if we went past the house, then came back the other way.  Here's a look at how it went:

We're in the same order for this one; I have no idea what Ammy's looking at.

Not bad. Dad apparently took my
Cooperating for Photos 1 course, as he's totally not looking at the camera. Way to go, Dad!  He's looking at the camera in this one...

... but of course, none of the rest of us are.
Perfect!

Almost everyone is looking in the general direction of the camera ("
general" being the operative word) in this next one:

I did say "
almost everyone", didn't I? Ha roo roo roo! This was so fun!

OK, OK -- we gave her a good one! Dad walked us past the driveway, then Mom caught us on our approach to go in for water and cookies:

Did someone say "
cookies"?!?

"Let's GO!"

Happy Friday, everyone!

  15. That has to be the bluest sky we ever did see.
We know the problems of walking two dogs and getting two dogs to look the same way!
We can imagine the hard work your mom put into your photo shoot and we loved it.
You are all looking great on such an awesome day.
We hope your uncle has a great weekend - not sure about the joke!

The photo shoot was fantastic! I kind of smiled seeing you all milling about and trying to show your best side for the flashy beast.

  20. Yay! Mom's guess was right! (She grew up in Saudi Arabia, when she saw 'a rock' she knew where your Uncle was!) That aside, Mom is Most Impressed with the multi-dog-walking technique. She has enough issues with just me and Abby! ;-)
