Here I am from a couple weeks ago, out practicing my camouflage skills:
What do you think? Can you see me? How about in this next one?
I guess I'm easy to spot there. It's kind of ironic that my very nice pink CAMO leash is what shows the most. I thought camo was supposed to blend in? I guess maybe hot pink isn't quite the color to blend with Kansas winter landscape.
I wonder if everyone can see me coming?
"Oh, Mister MOUSIE!!!???!!!" |
I think the pink camo blew it for me. Oh well, Mom doesn't like for us to use those "high prey drive" instincts we Siberian Huskies have anyway. Neither does Storms.
Oh... speaking of Stormy, she might have something to ask all of you tomorrow ... about Zimmie and those buffalo he saw the other day. I don't know ANYthing about any of that. OK? Really.
..."Oh, give me a home where the buffalo roam..." Hee hee hee!" |
Seriously. I don't know a thing about it.
Love,
Ammy
are you guys rehoming buffalo?! :)
ReplyDeleteWe would never find you if it wasn't for your pink camo leash.

You're right, Ammy. I couldn't see you but I could see the pink leash. Maybe borrow Zimmie's next time, it's not so bright.

Maybe you need a rusty-red colored camo leash for winter. Then you would be perfectly hidden! I'm sure Dave can find the perfect color.
ReplyDeleteKat
I think woo did a good job of hiding! But da pink was a giveaway! However, it was stylishly fashionable and girlie!
ReplyDeleteMBB
It was not easy to see you there!
ReplyDeleteBut the camo leash made it!
Buffalos?? Oh-oh.... I am afraid to ask!
Kisses and hugs

You sure do blend in in that golden field. I love walking Marge in places like that.. I think it's one of my favorite natural colors!
ReplyDeleteYou all have the best, most fascinating adventures! I love the pink camo! I think it fits you perfectly and is a great way for your mom to see you!
ReplyDeleteHolly

ReplyDeleteHugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,

Yup, it's the pink camo leash that gives you away, Ammy. Other than that, we never would have noticed you!

I would find you anywhere Ammy. Or even ammywhere!! Listen I even cracked a joke on my blog. Well sort of anyway. I thought about you. I hope you find it slightly funny. I think I need to take lessons on it though. it's not easy to be as witty as you I think.
ReplyDeleteLove Pippa, off to read backwards now.
O Ammy! O Ammy! wherefore art thou Ammy?
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Maxx
Your red coat looks very pretty in that first pic, it blended in so well we could hardly see you!
ReplyDeleteI note that Ammy is sporting the ever stylist reverse poodle cut on her tummy and legs-hope the pretty red girl is ok.
ReplyDeleteI think you blended in so well but yes that leash was so a givaway. I like the colour though.Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteYou need to hide the pink camo

oooooooooh I am so late in catching up dear Ammy! My Jeannie is kinda annoyed with herself, because she has a tune on her mind after reading this post.........
ReplyDelete"Home, home on the range............."
Mind you I would be a bit worried if our home was on the range. Though we definitely wouldn't need Central Heating, the kitchen range would keep our house warm LOL!
ps, I couldn't see you at all, there was some invisible Husky though wearing the most charming pink collar..................
Wouldn't want to lose you so good think you had a bright pink camo leash on you. :) Makes you wonder where a bright pink camo leash might blend in huh? hehe
ReplyDeleteWoooo.... If it weren't for that leash, we never would have seen you dear Ammy!
