Peachy!

Greetings to all!  It's me, Maggie!  I was going to tell you all about where I went when we took my Wordless Wednesday photo, but we have breaking news here at Ao4 Headquarters!  Remember the sad state of affairs with the last box we received?  Well, there has been a great turn of events!

Cam and I were just kicking back after lunch yesterday when Mom made the announcement:  "There are boxes on the front porch!"

Yep, I was excited.  I mean - boxes!  How cool!  Here's how it all went down!

IMG_9311CamMagPeachBox
"It's from Georgia!  From Aunt Shelli, Uncle Jeremy, little Cora, and Cornelia Marie!!!  And it's for all four of us!!!"
"Wait.  I can't fit in here!!!"

Then I remembered Mom said there were boxes.  Plural!  I knew Aunt Shelli wouldn't let me down!  Cam called me into the other room.

"Maggie!  Maggie, come in here!"

Mom said before we did anything else, we needed to text a big THANK YOU picture to Aunt Shelli! We posed nicely:

"Thank you, Aunt Shelli!  And Uncle Jeremy!"
"And little C-Ro!  And CM!!!"

Mom was pleased with our pose - then said we could check out the box.

IMG_9319CamMagPeaches
"Oh, my peachy goodness!!!"
"What are these things in the box, Cam?  They smell heavenly!"

Cam said she is very familiar with them and proceeded to fill me in.

"This, my little one, is a Georgia peach!  It's one of the sweetest, juiciest, tastiest fruits God blessed us with!"
"Really?  Better than pears and cantaloupe?"

She said yes, then she and Mom encouraged me to give it a gentle sniff.

IMG_9315MagCamPeach
"It's fuzzy, Cam!  And ooooooh, does that smell good!"
"Wait 'til you taste one!"

Mom took the peaches into to the kitchen to wash them and ... well ...

IMG_9329MagInABox
"YAY!!!  A BOX!!!  THANKS, Aunt Shelli!!!"

It was just PERFECT, don't you ... oh.  Right.  My tail.  Hang on.

IMG_9330MagInABox
"Get in the box, tail!  Don't make me chase you!"

IMG_9333MagInABox
"NOW it's perfect!!!"

After I played in my box for a while, Mom said we could all taste one of the peaches!

IMG_9334CamMagPeach
"You have my complete, undivided attention."
"Mine, too."

That peach was everything Cam said it would be - a sweet, juicy delight!  I liked it quite possibly more than the box.  Maybe.  I mean - for those of you who know how much I like boxes, you'll understand that's a LOT!!!  Mom and Dad said it was the best peach they've had in years!

Thank you, thank you to Aunt Shelli, Uncle Jeremy, Cora, and my sister CM!

Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

  21. Oh wow, I can TELL y'all really loved your peaches, because that's the best thank-you picture I've ever seen. Your momma just needs to Photoshop in a pile of Christmas presents instead of the peaches and use it as your Christmas card!
