More About Us Helping

Greetings to all!  It's me, Maggie.  I thought I'd show you more pix today illustrating just how very helpful Cam and I were while Dad was out of town.  I'll keep the chit-chat to a minimum!

We did a lot of this:

IMG_3003MagsCamWalk
"We've been up since four - and now the sun's out!  Let's GO!"
"Why did I think we'd be able to sleep in while Dad was gone?"
"I'm with you, Cam ..."

You know Mom's comments are in black, right?  Anyway ...

That was followed by supervising Mom while she gardened.

IMG_3027MagsCamDeck
"Doing great, Mom!  Don't forget to water the new stuff!"
"Mags!  I thought we were playing Queen of the Stairs - come ON!  I mean ... it's break time!"

More of this:

IMG_3007MagsCamSquirrel
"Squirrel!"
"Got him in my crosshairs!"

And more supervising. We were careful to stay hydrated, since it's still warm here.

IMG_3036CamWater
"Slurp, slurp ... hey, Maggie!  Mom's got water in her coffee cup!"

Yeah. And more of this:

IMG_3107MagsCamWalk
"Forward!  Let's go!"
"Come on, Mom!"

It was important for us to make sure Mom got enough exercise in.  It's good for her.

IMG_3112CamMags
"Ready to tackle the garden, Mom?"
"That northwest corner needs weeding, you know..."

And ...

IMG_3218MagsCamRace
"Look!  There's a lady with two dogs in front of us!"
"I'll bet we could catch up with them!"
"Girls!  This isn't a race!  Girls!"
IMG_3224CamMags
"Really, Mom?  'Not a race'?  Where do you come up with these things?"
"We could have smoked 'em if you hadn't made us turn up Everett!"

And back to the garden:

IMG_2721CamMagsDeck
"We're here for you, Mom!"
"Looks like some-squirrel's been digging in the Iris Garden!"

It was an exhausting 87-million days, as you can imagine!  Frankly, I'm not sure how Mom would have handled everything without our help.

Remember - the Siberian Husky is a Working Breed!

Do all of you pitch in to help around the house?

Yours sincerely,

  7. It sure looks like you all had a very busy day!!! The little bipeds are out of school because of parent/teacher conferences, so it has been pretty busy here too - we just love lunch time when some of them drop some crumbs our way:) We help clean the floor for Mom.

  8. Wow, we are in awe of the work you two do! Mostly me and Stanley like to do dishes and help mom get exercise by throwing the ball.

  13. I want you girls to know I am taking very careful notes. You two are helping me a whole bunch in how and what to do with my momma. I hope to be as good a helper as you two. Did you know that my breed was bread to help work on a farm. Yep, we were called the poor mans horse and we pulled carts and stuff. So I guess in a way we are related, you know working breed and all.
    Blessings,
    Buddy
