Posing Together By The Sunflowers

Greetings to all! It's me, Maggie! September is a beautiful time in Kansas - our temps finally start to come down AND it's Sunflower Season! We walked past a big patch on our morning walk today and Mom thought it would be a great idea to get a shot of me and Cam in front of them. You know. Posing. Together.

Oh. Right. Why no posing together? I mentioned the slightly cooler temps, right? And you know what that means, don't you?

That's right! The desire to act like Crazed River Otters!  It's awesome!

Mom decided the "single" shots were good enough.

    Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Crazed river otters do get frisky in cooler waters!!
    I, Madi(son)D Cat...live in a climate controlled house...but I can tell you for a fact the two leggers are busier in the great out of doors this time of year

    Our mom loves the sunflowers. She loves the sunflower in the sidewalk area at the Kansas welcome center too! Me and Stanley soooo agree about the cooler temps. Today is the coolest in ages!

    Those sunflowers are beautiful and there are SO many!!! You are lucky you have cooler temps - it is hot, sticky, hazy, muggy, and humid here. Did we say HOT!!! the coolness all went away:(

    Cooler temps definitely get us pumped up. Unfortunately the only place we can find cool temps is in our house with the AC on right now. We are going to hit 90 + degrees in the next couple of days. We are so ready to have summer over.

    Oh yes, we are glad to be out of the 90 degree weather. We just hope that the pleasant fall temps will stick around for a while. But we had frost last night - Mom had to scrape her windshield before going to work - ugh!
