"Smile, girls!" "How's this, Mom?" "Hey, what's that?!?" |
Did I mention this was when we were having 40mph or higher wind gusts? You wouldn't believe all the stuff flying around!
"Perfect, Cam! Umm... Maggie?" "The wind is tickling my ear!" "Birdie! No, wait. COW!" |
Seriously crazy wind!
"Oh, Maggie! Ha roo woo roo!" "No, seriously!" |
"You DO know Mom has cookies, right?" "Could have been a cow ..." |
"Hurry, Mom! It's the money shot!" "Why didn't you SAY you had cookies?!?" |
I think she got what she wanted in the long run - even if I didn't smile like Cam. There were too many distractions!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
How can you be expected to pose pretty when there's so much going on?? PS: mom says to look out for... What's that? Really? OK. She said watch out for flying houses.
ReplyDeletesheesh - if she wants good pictures, she needs to disclose the cookies right away :)
ReplyDeleteWhoa ladies I hope you didn't see Dorothy or Toto or flying monkeys in the Kansas skies.

Hey, Maggie, don't let Cammie fool you. We are pretty sure that cow was one of the ones the farmers were looking for in Lenexa the other day. They said they came from a big truck that tipped over, but we bet it was the wind that blew them here.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning and Misty
love those smiles!! Just precious!! DakotasDen
ReplyDeleteWe think each picture is a masterpiece and the sky is just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOMD BEAUTIFUL.
ReplyDeleteYou can see fur like 87 miles... and OH THAT Colorful Sky.
I definitely think it might have been a cow.
ReplyDeleteWe had lots of wind around here yesterday with peak gusts registering at over 80 mph!!! Needless to say we lost power for about 18 hours. We can see how that high wind can be a bit distracting.
ReplyDeleteThese photos are gorgeous! Even if there were wind distractions, they came out great. I think everyone is having extreme wind these days, the wind turbines must all be working overtime, LOL!
ReplyDeleteLove & Biscuits,

ReplyDeleteGreat shots Maggie! The distracted ones made My Margret smile as well, which she said was sorely needed today.
