So ... on Howl-o-ween, Mom and I went outside just to doodle around a bit, maybe take a picture or two. I was posing by our stairs when I sensed something changing ...
"I sense a change coming. Soon." |
We had no sooner walked over to the driveway when ...
"YES!" |
It was snowing!!! Well, OK, not "snowing" so much as "flurrying", but it's our first of the season! That's always the most exciting! Let's pan in and look at it on the grasses:
Maiden Grass in snow |
Is that not a beautiful development?!?
"We're going to need a whole lot more than this!" |
Sadly, it didn't amount to anything, and the next day it was over 70 degrees outside, but at least we got SOME! Maybe it was just a practice run or something.
Have you seen any snow yet?
Cammie!
Woot! Woot!! We know how much you and Maggie love your snow and we hope you have lot and lots more!!
ReplyDeleteWe, on the other hand, are fans of sun puddles and dry grass. We'll send all our snow your way!

That's a whole lot more than we got!!! Mom said she saw ONE flake while she was driving home Tuesday night. We saw NONE!!! We are sure hoping it won't be long before we can show Timber how much fun snow can be. As a matter of fact, Misty didn't get to see much snow last year either. So, bring it on!!! Just ignore the Momster saying NO NO NO.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Cammie OMCs your leash matches your new favorite bandana! You are just too cool for school
ReplyDeleteMOL MOL your brief snow is about what happens here for real. One day it will snow and then the next day it will melt. At least your brief snow isn't the kinda that melts into a mess
Hugs madi your bfff
We're very happy that you are happy. Being in Florida, we are highly unlikely to get any.
ReplyDeleteWe just got frost for the first time yesterday so no snow yet! Lucky you, Cammie!
ReplyDeleteMaybe mother nature wanted to celebrate a little with you too! Hope you get some lasting snow soon - and you can have any that we might get

We've had flurries here too. But on Sunday it's supposed to be near 70 with severe storms. Our weather guy said that's not normal for us here in Illinois. I hope you get more snow soon. ~ nose nudges Bessie Pup
ReplyDeleteYou beat us! We usually see snow by now but so far not this year.
ReplyDeleteWe've seen lots and lots of snow already. But I think that the snow was special for you - because you are such an amazing dog! It was gorgeous on your plant and all around one of my favorite Sibes!!!! I'm still smiling about your news!
ReplyDeleteOh gurl, you gots to wear that bandana every day!!! Wells, no, we NEVER gets any snow. sadly. I dream of soft clouds of snow under my furry paws every nights....
ReplyDeleteI'll keep my paws crossed you gets more than a teeny flurry...
Kisses

Cammie, we have a bit of sprinkles today but it is more of a tease, kind of like your snow :) we apologize to your folks for saying this but we hope your flurries are a sign of more snow to come (at least enough for some cool snow fort building :) )
ReplyDeletebtw, you look great in your purple bandanana and matching leash!
