... and several hundred more. We even saw Whooping Cranes! And lots of other birdies, too. And some deer! It was a very exciting, very serene day!

Your mom sure does luff her birds! Today ours saw lots of little birds in our front yard. Something small, gray with blue bits on the front.

WOW! I want to see a sandhill crane someday up close like that. Your mom is amazing, catching such super "on the wing" photos. Last week, a group of about 50 sandhill cranes got grounded near our home by really bad weather. Unfortunately, the roads were too bad for me to zoom over to see them. Someday.... but until then, I'll enjoy your photos!
