Prep Work

Greetings to all!  It's me, Maggie.  This weekend, Cam and I spent a lot of time helping Mom deck the halls here at Ao4 HQs.  There was a lot to do - but before the decorations go up, Mom always does a lot of cleaning.  Yep.  Prep work.  I was a great deal of help to her. Of course.

"Umm ... Maggie?"

Mom seemed unsure of herself or something.  She repeated my name a few times ... I have no idea what she was doing.

"I wonder if I should move.  Nah ... probably not."

Do you help your bipeds with the prep work and the decorating?  It's such hard work!!!

    Maggie managing that ill behaving sucky cord is a big big job! I say lots of HBO words to mine. Seems every time I use the sucky monster the sucky cord gets shorter and shorter.
    Ohhhh I just got home for a road trip about 15 miles down the road. I got some amazing photos one in particular was a Heron airing out its wings almost like it was posing.

    I am mom's bestest helper too, Maggie. I always strategically place my tennis ball so she always has a bit of fun while she works!

    You are such a good help. We often get in the way of vacuuming because we aren't scared of that machine at all. One of our favorite cleaning things is the Swiffer Duster. Doesn't that look like a toy to you?

    Lightning doesn't get it either, Maggie. He sees the vacuum come out, and he always seems to choose to lie down in the exact spot Mom wants to clean:)

    I like to help mum with washing the floor by having a big drink and dribbling water on the floorboards. She is always so happy when I do that!

    We lay on the floor by the ladder so it doesn't shift. We also anticipate where she is cleaning next and go stand right there to supervise. We also make great dance partners when a good cleaning song comes on. Sometimes, well most of the time she asks us to go supervise out in our in our pup pen. She says she gets things done faster when we aren't helping. Huh, well who knew! ~ nose nudges Bonnie, Belle, and Bess Pups
