I didn't want Cam to worry about us while we were gone, so I hustled Mom right along. I mean -- check it out:

I mean 28 miles per hour?!? We were BOOKING! We didn't exceed the speed limit, as per Mom's request, but still. We were speed walking!
I gave Mom a little reward right before we hit the Kansas Ocean:

It was great fun - but we're all glad Dad is home now and we can all go on walks together! Do you like speed walking? What's your top speed?

Wow Maggie, you really are a speed walker! We make sure to take our Daddy on walkies a few times a day, and he and Rosy always make sure we all go fast!

I bet the spray from the KSO felt wonderful! We walk faster some days than others too, Maggie.
ReplyDeleteMisty and Timber were walking with Mom one day and we saw one of those monitors too. Funny thing though, we thought we had established a fairly steady pace, but that screen was all over the map - it even clocked us at 53 mph at one point.
