Cameron - D’Azul’s Girl From Ipanema
7 January 2008 - 5 June 2020

In 2017, she fought and beat adrenal cortical carcinoma (cancer).
In 2019, she fought and beat breast cancer.
In 2020, she fought and beat the adrenal cancer once again.
Through everything, she remained strong, loving, and kind.
Today, due to liver failure, we had to let her go.
Godspeed, sweet Cammie. You will always be so very loved.

Our mom's eyes are leaking for your sweet Cammie girl. We were afraid the blog break you announced might have something to do with a health problem with one of your family members and we are sad to see it was Cammie. Our paws are crossed for Maggie and you, her pawrents, and hope you can feel some comfort from that.

You are now undertaking the long journey through grief. While others may share that grief we all walk it alone. There are no right or wrong paths, no proper way to carry oneself on the trek, no set amount of time to complete it. Some steps will come easier than others. There will be rogue waves of grief that you won’t see coming, and knock you back days. But you will come through it. If you get lost let us know. We have been through it before and we might be able to help you find the way out
ReplyDeleteI have waited for a couple of days to comment because it hurt my heart so much to hear that she is gone. She was a brave and fun girl. I loved your posts about her and her sister - especially CROG. I know that you'll treasure those memories and help Maggie through her grief. I am sending you and your family lots of love.
