Here we are, arriving on the scene:
Wow, Dave. Look at all that algae stuff. All slimy, stinky and green. Wouldn't you love to roll around in THAT?!?!
You know it, Zim.
Uhh... just kiddin', Mom.
There's a cool bridge that crosses the Kansas Ocean. Not the ocean itself, really, more like one of the tributaries that leads to it. Sort of like the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. When we came to that bridge, we crossed it.
Ha woo, get it? We crossed that bridge when we came to it.
Dave, we need to remember to tell Ammy that one! Ha roo roo roo!
After we crossed it, Mom said it was time to turn around and head home - so we crossed back over. There is a little step up on part of it, so Zim had to walk up on that. That plan went just fine until...
Hey!
Ha woo. Good pick-play, don't you think?
Zim thought Rusty of the Thundering Herd would have probably walked up there, too. Must be a red-headed guy thing.
We had a great time...
Let's head home, little bro!
...and hope to get back to the ocean again soon. Thanks for coming along with us!
Luv,
Dave
You all need to come and visit me and see too oceans at once, well one Mediterreanean Sea and one Atlantic Ocean - oh and one Straits of Gibraltar too. I think you would like that very much.
ReplyDeletePippa

-Princess and the rest of the piappies.
Hi Dave!!! You look fantabulous crossing the bridge - both ways. I'm so glad you got the experience the Kansas Ocean... though I'm a bit surprised you didn't take advantage of the algae mud bath - my momster spends mucho buckos on algae cream stuff... or is that just a biped thing?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great time!
ReplyDeleteHey, Zimmie, how do you get to be so lucky to go on every adventure? First with Ammy and now with Dave. Next you'll be on an adventure with Stormy. You are one lucky fella!

Guys, Ammy's gonna LOVE that pun! What a fine mess you'd have been in had you rolled in that green gunk!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great adventure. Do you see any seagulls at the Kansas Ocean?
ReplyDeleteHuffs
Such good buddies! You get along better than Africa and Leo, but they really do like each other and you are right. I think it is because they are both from South Africa.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah! Climb on up there Zim! It is a Red Head thing.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, if you crossed the bridge and then ran out of time and had to go back, does that make it (ready, Ammy), A Bridge Not Quite Too Far.
- Rusty
With days like today, our walks are just wonderful, but we haven't found the Kansas Ocean yet.

I keep looking on the map for your ocean, and I can't seem to find it. Maybe its an outdated map...

We're glad that you had a good "field" trip. Is Zim a real red head or does he have blonde roots? Take care of him Dave.
- TBH&K GN-BA
Great adventure! Eww...you don't want to roll in that algae because your mom might tell you that you need a BATH!
