Woo, everypuppy and everycat. It's me - Dave! For this week's Photo Finish Friday, I wanted to share some pictures with you that Mom took of me and my favorite new toy. It's a squeaky tennis ball and I just am having a blast learning how to play with it!
See... you can run after it and bring it back:
...but it's kind of little and tries to get away from you!
Whoa!
See that? It's tricky! But you have to stick with it...
Gotcha!
...then give it to your Mom so she can throw it again!
It's a great game with a great toy! I've never played Squeaky Tennis Ball before, but I sure enjoyed it!
Isn't it great? And you know what else? Not only can you do the fun "bringing it back" thing, but it also squeaks!
Woo? Did you say something?
What a cool new toy! I love my Squeaky Tennis Ball!
Luv,
Dave
i love that last pic! Dave, are you sure you're not trying to hypnotize that ball?!
ReplyDeleteI gotta have my Mom find me one of those. You know I love squeakers, Dave!
ReplyDeleteLudo sent me a new toy with the biggest squeaker you can imagine, it almost honks! Its great!
Kisses,
Stella
I'm confused. Is Dave a Siberian-adore, a Siberian Labrador, or a Labrahusky?
ReplyDeleteJuno loves that squeeky ball. remember the tennis ball glue is bad for their teeth so don't let them chew them apart. I put mine away when Juno's done playing catch (but not retrieve)! hmm...gives me a new challenge with her. I'll bet in 2 weeks i'll have her retrieving a tennis ball? anyone game to bet me??
Dave? ammy? Zim? Storm? any takers?
have a great weekend A04!
Hi Dave
ReplyDeleteWhat an excellent demonstration of how to play with your new squeaky tennis ball!
We get stuck at the 'give it back to mom' bit!
All your pictures were lovely but we loved the last one!
You are just so handsome and intense!
Have a great weekend.
love
Martha & Bailey xxxx
We know sibes aren't supposed to retrieve, but Dakota used to like to do that too. Hope you are enjoying your new ball.
ReplyDeleteWoos, the OP Pack
oh yes, the last photo of you looking almost "cross eyed" at the squeaky tennis ball is beautiful.....so Labradorlike.
ReplyDeleteBut (sorry, 'ahem', be prepared for stupid jokes here.........)
I was wondering about the Stick With It, why haven't you shown us a photo of said Stick.
A Squeaky Tennis ball is all well and good, but hey, you and I, Dave, are secret Labradors......
We lurve, lurve, a Stick, more than anything, even more than a squeaky tennis ball.
Please post a picture of the stick which came with it.
Your Labradorable Pal,
Marvin........
"who always gets the "wrong end of the stick".......
Not sure if this is a saying in KKansas but it sure is a saying here in the UKk
sorry my paws are toooooo big for this Keyboard, I keep pressing far too hard on the keeys.
your best labradorable pal

Man, you must think I never ever read you guys but I have been following ALL your posts for the last couple months, I love all your photos, and we are very impressed with your squeaky ball. I have one but I tend to get overly excited about the squeak and puncture it... then it doesnt squeak!?? :( Be careful yours doesn't fall to the same fate!
ReplyDeleteLicks,
Kylie
LabraDave. Honestly.
ReplyDeleteHuffle Mawson
We totally and completely get the squeaky thing. But the bring it back thing - we don't understand. What is the point?
ReplyDeleteWow Dave...you are a very good squeaky tennis ball player!!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!
Dory

Aw...that last picture is JUST the sweetest thing! I'm mad about my tennis ball too, Dave, although it doesn't squeak like yours!
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
You look so happy with your squeaky tennis ball! And I'm sure that your mom loves to play with her lab/husky.
ReplyDeletePrincess Eva
Hey there Dave
ReplyDeleteThat was a pawsome demonstation with some lovely action shots! But Mate, we are confused:
You see, you seem to have a knack of loosing that leash and we wanted to know just how you do that??? The problem has been puzzling us for years and we would love to be able to do it ourselves. You seem to have the answer... Please tell us?
Lots of licks

ps. Your garden is sooo neat...puts all our Moms to shame:)
Weeee balls are great fun and a squeaky one sounds even better :-) Would love to come and chase it with you
ReplyDeleteHi Dave!
ReplyDeleteSqueaky toys are one of our favorites, especially Fudgie! It's great you had fun with your squeaky tennis ball.
Sure hope Zim, Stormy and Ammy would play with you too.

Great fun Dave! I has one of them. Just don't go dropping it in the kansas ocean, they don't squeak so good when wet!
ReplyDelete~lickies, Ludo
Hey Dave! Guess I better nudge Ma or Dad to find one of those for me! If YOU like it, then I bet I might go for it too! Mom says "variety is the spice of life" so maybe this one time, I'll give my kong a rest! I love your all-out run - you are certainly f-a-s-t!!!! Sorry it took so long for my secty to get here. I been bugging her, but she's been lazy (she calls it bizzy woof!)
ReplyDeleteHugs xo

You look like you are having a fabulous time!! Khady loves her little squeaky ball too! I love the last pic of you! It is adorable!
ReplyDeleteHolly
Jackal has some of those and he LOVES them. Only bad thing about them is they don't bounce as well as the original tennis ball. I love that last picture where he's staring at the ball. So cute!
ReplyDeleteThat squeaky tennis ball looks like tons of fun! Beautiful pics of you, Dave!
ReplyDeleteMochi
We have some of those and I've never been interested in them, but I think you've inspired me. I should try playing with them.
ReplyDeleteKat
