Look, Zim! The Kansas Ocean!
I thought Ammy said there was still some snow here...
We didn't see any patches of snow like Ammy did, but we sure had a good time. Zim spotted some ducks swimming way over near the distant shore. He tried to lure them over to him like he does with every other animal he sees, but they didn't respond. I told him it's because they couldn't see him. I mean - look at how well camouflaged he is:
See what I mean? He's got great camo, doesn't he? I told him he should move over to the sidewalk boardwalk and maybe they would be able to see him better.
Hey, ducks! Can you see me now?
They still didn't come over, so we moved on to other, more important things:
Me and Zim, doing one of the things we do best
It was a great day at the Kansas Ocean! Hopefully, we'll get to go back again soon!
Luv,
Dave
Hey Dave, I thought that picture looked a little familiar but it's a great one to use again and the picture says it all! Temps in the 50's sound good to me. Holly isn't playing today, she's still sleeping. The Kansas Ocean!!! My very favorite Ocean of all!! I love going there and Holly does to (when she's awake)!! It looks like everyone had fun!!! How can you not when you are at the Kansas Ocean!! Lots of love, Debbie and Hollydog
ReplyDeleteYes, the warmer temps are quickly approaching us here too. The humans are a bit happier. Us, not so much. However, I can't wait for the yard to turn into a swamp!!
ReplyDeleteKhady Lynn
Lovely pics, especially the one of you and Ammy doing what you do best!
ReplyDelete"A wonderful notion,
to visit the ocean"
I am getting more brief!
ha ha!
We still have snow here, it is very thick, but we have had lots of very bright sunshine today.
However, it is very, very frosty at night. Which means the snow, doesn't go. ;0(
(oh by the way, that last bit of my comment was not a poem! Just in case you thought I had taken a modern poetry course.....)
Marvin xx In Brief.
er not "in briefs", that would be kinda weird and if I may bark, slightly unsavoury. ;0D
Zim....the duck whisperer.
ReplyDeleteAroooo-rooo-rooo.
Oz
Too bad Zim! They woulda been tasty, er, I mean, great fun!
ReplyDelete~lickies, Ludo
Great pictures.. I have missed seeing you four woofies.. I am back now and have missed all my pals.. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteHey Zim, the Ducks probably are building nests and laying eggs, which means they have to sit on them. So no matter how kind your invite, they are just too busy right now. Thats my thought, anyway.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, can you swim in the Kansas Ocean? That might be a nice hot weather activity.
Kisses,
Stella

Hi, Dave!
ReplyDeleteSure you had a nice Boys Day Out (with mom) going to the Kansas Ocean!
Here is not very cold today... and I am very happy for that!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
Nothing like a good wrestling match on leashes to get out human walkers excited, huh?
ReplyDeleteWhat nice pictures of you guys at the Kansas Ocean..BOL
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Wow - there isn't a drop of snow there at all! You're not alone, though - ours is melting too. Right now, all we have left are big, dirty piles.
ReplyDeleteThe Kansas ocean is beautiful! It looks like it doesn't have a lot of waves. Marge would probably like that ocean better than the one we have here.
I hope you boys had a wonderful day! My mum has been away with work but she is home now. Maybe we should go for a walk too.
ReplyDeleteHuffs
You boys sure know how to have a good time!
ReplyDeleteWe loved your pics - we could even feel the sunshine at the Ocean!
We saw ducks today and barked and barked!
If you need some back up barking we can get the next flight over.
love and kisses
Martha and Bailey xxxx
ps late again but we had no internet last night! Something to do with the phone line....
We're getting warmer temps here too, guys! Mom is anxious to see flowers bloom and we bet your mom is too!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
I think you will have to get up a bit earlier in the morning to fool those ducks into thinking that you are part of the scenery.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
What a fun walk!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!
Dory
Looks like you guys had a Grrrrreat day out!!
ReplyDeleteHave a pawsome weekend!
Woofs and Kisses!
The Kansas Ocean looks so pretty & blue! I think right now our mom would take colder temps & snow over our muddy mud mud, but, we like mud almost as much as we like snow. Woo-hoo, husky smackdown!!!
ReplyDeletejack a-roo & moo too
Hey there boys, that looks like a fun day at the Kansas Ocean.
ReplyDeleteOur humans like it warmer too, they are looking forward to the summer but we are not keen on the sun too hot. It hinders with our tennis ball fetching...BOL
Nice ocean! We love the last shot - how playful you are!
ReplyDeleteSam
I like your ocean better. My ocean has too many crazy waves.
ReplyDeleteSorry the ducks didn't want to hang out. My cousin Henrietta (the duck) runs away from me too. Maybe it's because I like to hide behind the green onions and jump out at her. :)
Mochi
Your mom has to be Siberian. I mean, how did you get to be Siberian if she's not Siberian. If your dad was Siberian and your mom was not Siberian then you would only be half Siberian and I'm pretty sure you're 100% Siberian so that must mean that your mom and dad are both Siberian, but maybe your mom is just a dysfunctional one.
ReplyDeleteDid you catch all that?
