Our dad served in the Big Red One for a good number of years, so when Mom said they were having a pet photo contest, I was all for doing a shoot! So was Dave! The girls ... not so much. I think you know how Stormy and Ammy are about wearing anything or posing in general! Mom let them sit this one out. Dave and I sure had a blast, though, and came up with three photos for the "got bro?" pet photo contest. We couldn't decide what to post today, so I thought I'd share our entries with you!
No worries here - the voting is done by an anonymous panel of judges from the 1st ID. We just thought you'd like to see them!

I like that one. It's like Dave's got my six and I'm asking "got bro?" (That's their slogan right now.)

Oh... I know what you're thinking. Why aren't there more pix of Dave? Was I that well-behaved for Mom the whole time? Well ... the 1st ID patch didn't show up as well on the pix of Dave - Mom might do another shoot with him later. And as per the "well-behaved" bit ... err ... here's one of the "out-takes".
The out-takes were more fun than the others! I'll let you know how we do in the contest!

Sadly, he passed away when I was just 13, but I've written articles on/about him and the Big Red One. My Mom served on the homefront in an arsenal, so as a result of them, I am a total WWWII history buff. Winning wishes coming your way - let us know how you handsome models do!
