She likes to lay around in our garden, so I thought I should go over and introduce myself.
She doesn't look too thrilled in this next photo:
I gave her my slow tail wags for a while, though, and won her over.
"Meow?" |
She's young and lives with other kittens and cats and a dog, so after we hung out a while, I gave her a little bow to see if she'd like to play.
"Want to play, kit-cat?!?" |
Sadly, she ran off. Maybe something got lost in the translation. Fear not, though - she comes and hangs out almost every day!
Do you have neighborhood friends who hang out with you?
Tail wags,
Storms
Hi Storms, Good way to win over your new friend. Bet that black kitty will be back & slowly get used to you. We don't have any that usually come in the yard. But we do have cats that live behind us & they "tease" us thru the fence. Of course, we have to bark at them. At least we think so.

Woo-hoo, Storms! Just slow & steady, that's how Star used to win over her kitty-cat friends. Me & Moo....well, we don't have any kitty-cat friends. I wonder why not? (snickers)

I don't have many friends, probably why I talk to a stuffed Alien.....
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Do you believe she ran off Stormy. Maybe kittys were made for chasing. BOL. We have a few furry kids we like around here. Otherwise there are only monsters

Such a pretty kitty!
ReplyDeleteI don't have any neighbourhood friends, Stormy. I might be the only cat on the street here.

I think it's a Huffle imposter. I'd be a bit suspicious.

Wow...what a pretty kitty. Those eyes are just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYou were very sweet with your neighbor kitty Stormy. Since I can't chase my kitty sisfurs, it's a full on chase when a neighbor cat comes in my yard. They keep coming back too. I don't understand cats.
ReplyDeleteSadie
You are such the ambassador. Our hu-dad keeps reminding us that the animals in our neighborhood are wild. For reals, not our kind of wild.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous kitty!
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful. Man, if cats and dogs getting along like that is wrong, then I don't wanna be right.

Hi, Storms!
ReplyDeleteSorry she did not want to play with you!
Maybe next time!
Nope. My doggie neighbors are always behind gates so I can't come close enough to them!
Kisses and hugs

Stormy, you were a lot nicer to that kitty than I would of been! I do have a furiend that lives close by. I think you have met him before when he stays at my house. His name is Baxter and he is a sausage dog! Tell Zim I'm sending him an extra hug cause I know he is loney without his chair ;o)

oooooh.....Stormy, you now asking a leading question there!
ReplyDeleteI am afraid no C.A.T. dares to cross my threshold, the word seems to have got around my neighbourhood, or should I bark "C.A.T.hood) that I am a guy, not to be messed with.
But I really wish I had cats living next door to me.......it would be yummy.....ooops no, sorry I meant to bark, "it would be funny". Phew!
Nearly gave away a secret there.
lots of tooth wags, Marvin xxxxx
Stormy! Great and gentle approach to that cute kitty. Never know what they hide at the end of their paws heheh! Love her spot in the tall grasses! Have a good Wednesday!

We have a calico kitty that has been sleeping under our house. Sooo...now I'm not allowed out without a leash at night because mom might afraid that I may want to "play" with it! Hmph! Bali doesn't bother the cat so she can go out without her leash.

Cats are odd creatures, aren't they, Storms?
ReplyDeleteSam
I think that cat will warm up to you eventually. You just keep pouring on the charm. I like to play with my neighbor doggie. She pushes herself through the fence for me to sniff.
