All In A Day's Work

Greetings to all, it's me, Maggie!  I thought I'd just post a little bit about what I've been up to. Let's take the other day as a model! I started the day when Zimmie got up - around 0400, like usual. We went outside, then got a treat.

After breakfast and a walk...

"Another beautiful day!"

...I spent some time with my toys:

"Hi, everybody!"

Sorry. I was in the middle of saying something when Mom shot that picture.

After toy time, I relaxed in the living room for a while with Cammie:

Us girls.  Relaxing.
(Cam is on the bed; I'm in the foreground.)

After I did that for a while, Mom took me downstairs to play with "supervised only" toys.

Time for another walk after that!

"Let's GO!"

After a nice walk, Cam got to come back downstairs with me. We relaxed for a bit, like we did in the living room (see earlier photo), then played with toys.

"Hey, Aunt Cammie!  You aren't tired already, are you!?!"

By that time, I was little thirsty, so we went back upstairs for a beverage. Mom heard something and went flying out onto the deck with her camera.

"What's she doing out there, you guys?"
"Probably some birdies, Mags."
"Snow gooses!"

We thought we should join her, so she let us come out, too.

"Hey, Cam!  Let's play!"

After we spent some time relaxing out there, it was time for another walk:

"Isn't this great, Zimmie?!?"

I love it when we're all together!

A quick beverage, and I was ready to get back at it again!

"What's next, Mom?"

It's sure easy to get a lot of fun in before lunch when you get up at 4!  I wonder what's on tap for this afternoon!

Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

  1. Hello again Miss Maggie, I love reading about your day and I know that the Dog Whisperer would give your pawrents five paws up for so many walks every day! Hunter would be happy if I walked him twice a day too. Please tell your momma that I need her help organizing my new sewing room when we move in at the beginning of May. Your house is always so organized and clean-I can't wait till we move and I have more space. Have a fantastic weekend.

  2. OMD MT you are like the real thing. Mags was always on the go and only had a break when she had power naps. Mum and dad named you well.
    Have a super Saturday.
    Best wishes Molly

  3. WE don't like that getting up before breakfast stuffs. We think 9 or better YET..10:00 AM is about right fur rollin outta the rack.
BUTT we can SEE that we are missing some thingys.

  4. You sure cram a lot of stuff into your mornings. I get up at 0500. Guess I'm not as much of a morning dog as you are.

  5. Being a Labdog and living where we can walk all the time, Dad and I get up somewhere around 7. We each eat at our own tables and then head out while Maui and Mom sleep a while longer (they've been really slow to get out of bed since we all retired). You guys must go to bed very early to get up way before Jimmy Dean cooks sausages.

  6. We get up at 4 too but all we do is our bidness outside and then we go back upstairs to bed for 2 hours. Breakfast is at 6 and that's when our day really begins! Mornings are the bestest time of the day, don't you think?

    Love ya lots♥

  7. Wow Maggie, we didn't know you were such a morning doggie!!

PeeEss...are those shorts your Dad is wearing?? OMD...seems like just last week there was snow!

  8. I'm up most mornings early - so the pups wake up with me... LOL - that is our quiet time though!

  9. Wow, what a fun morning for you!
