The Aftermath

Greetings to all!  It's me, Maggie.  Oh.  By "aftermath", I don't mean from the storms yesterday.  We do send prayers out to those who were affected, though.  We are just fine, though apparently someone named The Roofers will be paying us a visit soon.  Anyway ... what I mean is the aftermath after a good, hearty round of Crazed River Otter Games (CROG).  You see, after we engage in some CROG activity, we usually do this:

"Yeah.  It makes us a bit ... tired."
"I might see something out there, Mags.  I'm not sure.  I'm not sure I care ..."

Cammie says Mom likes to see us playing.  It's ... it's like she wants us to get tired or something.  Can you believe that?

"You didn't plan this, did you, Mom?"
"I can barely keep my eyes open ... zzz ..."

The good part is that after a few minutes, we're ready to get back at it!  Who's up for a round of CROG?!?

Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

  1. It's always a good time for CROG - bet you have already started another round.

That sure was a wild night here with the storms moving through. We were so very fortunate not to have any damage but we are right smack between the damage at the executive airport (2 miles south of us) and the damage to the residential area in Leawood that was hit hard (3 miles east). Our hearts go out to all the people in Oak Grove, Smithville, and a variety of other neighborhoods who got hit so badly.

Now about that round of CROG . . .

  5. Our Hu-Dad keeps muttering "A Tired Sibe Is A Good Sibe." We don't understand how that can be true when we are too tired to even do anything.

  6. HI Maggie, You have so much energy-wish I had that much. A nap is always a good thing for the afternoon. Have fun playing tonight.

  11. We are stuck playing CROG inside for a while with all the rain we've been having. It tires us out too.

  13. Let me tell you something beautiful, a Tired Husky is a Good Husky! I mean a really Good Husky! Tired Huskies are also a bit of a rarity, as I'm sure Mom knows.
