Getting Our Veggies

Hello, everyone!  It's me, Cammie.  It's very important to eat right, as you all know - so Maggie and I are making a point to get enough vegetables.  Yesterday afternoon, we got to work!

I went for some eggplant ...

Like you, I was a bit concerned after we'd been chomping for a while.

Mom was watching us very carefully, as this is quite fresh produce.  After a good 15-20 minutes, this is how the artichoke looked:

These are some mighty tough veggies!

    You should volunteer as testers, girls. Those veggies are super tough if they can survive your "attention" ! I've never seen anything like them before, but they look fun !

    just stay away from brussel sprouts... we always love to see your pawsies holding the toys :) our mom had gotten Wriggley an aggplant and she got us a raspberry. we didn't seem to be interested in fruit at the time. maybe we'll try again.
