The view to the west! |
Yep! The view out back! Isn't that great?!!? When things started to settle down a bit, I thought Mom and I should stroll around out front.
"What a lovely day!" |
It was so nice! The winds were still blowing, the windchill was somewhere in the teens, and a light snow was falling! Who could ask for more? Oh. Yeah. Well, Mom needed a break from yard work, anyway!
Here's a short video. If you look to the left of the flower pot, you'll see some rocks and a clump of greenish stuff. That is - or was - the Grecian Windflowers we showed you. Hey, they're hearty; they're already looking good again! Anyway, let's go look around a bit!
What a lovely day, indeed! Is Kansas great or what?!?!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

That looks a lot like our Saturday evening into Sunday morning. It was great in our opinion too. For some reason Mom thinks today is a much better day.

Wind chill in the teens.... !! Ok that's way too cold for us here.
ReplyDeleteWe know you girls much prefer cold to hot so we hope it snows 5 feet!
ReplyDeleteOMD, 90 to snow?! You grrls must've prayed HARD!
ReplyDeleteMiss Maggie, We humans know your love for all things white-especially if it is falling from the sky, but I want to ask you if you could just keep the snow in your area. We are very tired of it and the high winds the plains get. It is cold and windy and we are ready for warm spring weather.
