"Really?!? For us?!?" |
It was a beautiful card from our friends Maggie and Mitch AND tucked inside was the mini-mitten from their give-away!!! I was bowled over by how gorgeous it is!!!
Their mom made it and it is just so beautiful! My favorite color combo, too - blue and white!!!
"Isn't this the most incredible mini-mitten you've ever seen?!?!" |
They wrote us a very nice card, too, wishing us and our mom and dad a merry Christmas! Their mom and dad signed it, too.
Zim got to see the mitten for a minute:
"This is the coolest mitten EVER!" |
He was on Sentry Duty by the front door, so he was trying to keep his serious look going.
Anyway, so Mom let him get back to guarding the house while I enjoyed reading the card Maggie and Mitch sent.
And then ...
And then ...
"Mom!?! Where are you going with our mitten?!?!" |
Mom was walking all over the place with it! Finally, she let out a cry of "This is perfect!" (I also heard something about "up high" and "out of reach" ... but I'm not sure what that was all about!)
Our mini-mitten from Maggie and Mitch! |
Mom hung it on one of our trees! Doesn't it look beautiful!!?
Thank you so much, dear friends! We just love our mini-mitten and love that it will remind us of our long-time blogging buddies and their family!!!
Luv,
Dave
Aww~ How sweet of M & M! And the mitten is so so so cute :)
ReplyDeleteYOu are so lucky. A mitten for your tree. Heck, you even get a tree.
ReplyDeleteWe don't get a tree, not in the house anyway.
Something about me eating it.
Oh well,
Merry Christmas
Bert

Does the mitten keep the tree warm?
ReplyDeleteIt looks just perfect on your beautiful Christmas tree! We're so happy that you like it, guys!

Maggie and Mitch
a mitten AND a tree to put it on. As you may know MOM does not put up a tree. You two are double lucky! It's a great mitten. Later after Christmas when you go outside and it's cold you could put it on your nose and look great!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
well how lovely!! But I was a wee bit concerned about the poor Kitten, I mean how did it survive in the mail? And does the Kitten like being high up and out of reach? ;0DDDDD
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess any Kitten would, especially if it had been sent to my house!
I think you both look so handsome in those photos too!

That is totally awesome. But I really think your mum should have put it somewhere you can reach! After all, it is your present.
