Here we are!
Yep! It's me and Fluffy Black Cat! She lives next door and likes to come over here and hang out sometimes. She's a pretty cool cat and I like it when we get to visit with each other.
I was confused last night, because she kept looking away while we were communing. Like this:
Fluffy Black Cat (FBC) |
Hmm. I tried to figure out what she was looking at ...
... and spotted the reason right in there between the row of Spirea and the Yew. Can you see? Let's zoom in!
The Other Black Cat (TOBC) |
Another black cat! I checked to make sure it wasn't my bestest friend Huffle Mawson and it wasn't her. I didn't know who The Other Black Cat was!!! FBC said she'd check it out, since I had her six.
"Meow. I better go see if The Other Black Cat is a friend or foe!" |
How brave!
"Be careful, Fluffy Black! I've got your 6!" |
I heard her tell TOBC to meet her by the corner of our house. Like some kind of kit-cat showdown or something!
I was mesmerized, as you can imagine! I wish I knew what they were talking about in there!
"So ... how do you think the 'Cats will do this year?" |
Who knows? Probably some kind of secret kitty-cat stuff.
After they had their chat, they parted ways - FBC went home to her house and I didn't see where TOBC went. I went on a quick walk, then when Mom went to open the garage door for us to go back in, something under the lilacs caught my eye!
Poor kit-cat looked mighty tired. Of course, I said she was welcome to hang out here.
TOBC settling in for a little cat nap |
All the kitties and bunnies and other friends seem to understand that our yard is a safe-zone for them. They have my permission to seek refuge here and are under my protection once they enter. I just hope Fluffy Black explained to The Other Black about not stomping Mom's flowers and stuff.
Play bows,
Zim
You are such a nice guy. We hope TOBC has a home to go to - but we love that you let her take a snooze in the garden.
ReplyDeleteThat's nice of you to let TOBC hang out in your yard Zim. Our mommy would have fed her a gourmet meal which would assure she never left. She's weird that way which is why I have to make sure my yard stays cat free while I'm on duty! Two kitty sisfurs is enough!
ReplyDeleteOh your so kind to the C A T.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to say we chase them, can't help it.
The silvers and more
So kind to other furbies! What a wonderful yard to be in. Keep us posted about TOBC, he kind of looks homeless.
ReplyDeleteAnother question: How did your blog get it's name?
Drools and licks,
Minnie, Mack and foster Mario
TOBC almost looks like it has been in a fight! Check out the nose on the last picture.
ReplyDeleteAs a cat myself, I can tell you this. Cats never ever forget a kindness, Zim. You will have this pair of pals for a long, long time!
Purrrrrs,
Ziva Zophia (aka Zkhat) (also Stella's sister cat)
You just are the best dog friend to the cats. MOM loves that. I do to, but I still can't help but chase them sometimes. It is soooo nice of you to let TOBC rest up.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
Poor TOBC looks like he's had a hard time lately! I hope he gets some rest and feels better.
ReplyDeleteThat sure is a lot of black cats hanging around your hood. I bet they appreciate the safe zone.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
Now see Zim I'm thinkin this is the BLOGVILLE WAY!! I'm just sayin.
ReplyDeleteZim, it is so nice that you have that safe zone for visiters.
ReplyDeleteTOBC looks a little ragged. Maybe you all need a cat?
ReplyDeleteOh, so we TOTALLY DROVE BY YOUR EXIT on the way to and from Colorado. I wooed out the window. Did you hear me?
Nora
Oh my! What a fluffy kitty kat!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Maxx
You have so many leafy places to hide in your yard. No wonder the black kitties love to hang out!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
