Tube vs Stuffie

Hi everypuppy and everycat!  It's me - Ammy!  Many of our friends like Meeshka, Sitka & CM, and Tubey himself (and apparently the Beagles Mom grew up with), find cardboard tubes quite entertaining.  You know - like the ones inside a roll of paper towels or toilet paper?  Those.  We've never really gotten into the whole "paper thing", but Mom gave me one the other day to see if I'd like to play with it.

"What am I supposed to do with this?"

No offense, but I didn't really get it. Oh, it's not like I didn't feel like playing ... it's just not my thing.

I sent Mom a mind-meld message, letting her know what I'd really like to play with.

"Oooh, a stuffie!"

Yes! I know what to do with a stuffie!

I made quick work of this one.  Mom was a bit surprised, as this toy has been with me for a number of years.  It was time, though.

"Now that was fun!"

I know we have another one of those cool camo footballs stashed away with our other toys somewhere.

"Let's go play with that one, too!"

Mom thought I had played with stuffies enough for one day.

"My work here is done then!"

It was great fun! I highly recommend de-stuffing over shredding tubes.

  1. As long as it is destructive, we are in.

  2. Yeah, we've never quite understood the cardboard thing ourselves - aren't those for hamsters or something? If you can't de-stuff it, what's the point?

  5. Monty agrees 100%! Although, he would like to point out that if all of your stuffies have been de-stuffed, than a tube makes excellent shredding!

  12. Ammy!
Sure it was much better to de-stuff that toy than playing with the tube!

  16. Ammy, our Bandit loves those tubes, but the rest of the Sibes just stare at her and don't really get it either! They much prefer to unstuff the stuffed toys as well! PS - you did a great job de-stuffing, by the way! ;-)

  19. Well, I don't understand the destuffing myself. Why disrespect your toys? So there you go. At least you have a supply of them to practice your disemboweling techniques on.

  22. Hi Ammy!

De-stuffing stuffies and deflating squeakies are the fave past times of Mocha and Wai-Max. Only the squeakies of Fudgie are intact. You love your smiling photo. Mocha wanted to throw in another stuffie for you to de-stuff just so she won't get another scolding from mom whenever she does that here. Waaaaah

  23. But paper towel tubes are AWESOME!!!! That's the only thing I will sneak away and steal if one happens to miss the trash can. I know better than to take anything else, but those are fair game.
