Ha roo, pups and cool cats. It's me - Zim! As many of you guessed yesterday, I was at my lookout post in the breakfast room because of one of my kit-cat pals. Maude The Bully Cat, to be more precise. She's been coming into our yard lately, then prowls around under our deck.
Yesterday, while Mom was out on the side steps watering plants, I saw Maude come out from under the deck and run over to Mom! THEN... I saw my mom PET her! She seemed real friendly. Oh, sure... it bothered me at first, but then I thought the poor thing is lonely! She's outside away from people all day, the poor Bully Cat. I'm glad Mom was there to give her some loving.
Having said that, Dave and I deserve extra ear scratchies and tummy rubs, don't you think? Maybe some extra Stinky Goodness Jerky Treats for me, a cookie or two for my brother...
Play bows,
Zim
We are glad Maude is getting some love from your mom - every animal deserves all the love they can get.
ReplyDeleteMost definitely!!

OK Zim, I am sure you are just being kind and all doggy, cause us dogs are so forgiving and accepting and loveable. But I bet my "Devil Cat" Allred is way meaner than your
ReplyDelete"Bully Cat" Thus I have to disagree with you about bully cats needing love. (although my Vickie would pet Bully Cat too) I guess in this particular situation, I am the only one (well me and all the other dogs that come stay with us who have been wounded by Allred) who still thinks even Bully Cats should be watched and avoided at all times.
Love
Bert
hmmmm do you want me to come over, do a bit of a Marvin stalk, snatch and run?
ReplyDeleteOr perhaps not..........sorry my animal instinct got the better of me there!
JUst keep an eye on Maude, those cats can be pretty sneaky….you wouldn't want your mom to invite her in for tea & crumpets, would you?
ReplyDeleteWoo definitely deserve more tummy rubs & treats!
jack & moo
You just keep your eye out for that trespasser
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
It's nice that your mom gave Maude some lovin' but I certainly agree that anytime moms pet kitties, we get extra treats and ear scritches! That would apply to petting kitty sisfurs too!
ReplyDeleteWoos,
Sadie
I bet your mom had kitty smell all over her after touching that smelly kitty. You totally deserve more treats!
ReplyDeleteI am glad that your mum gave the kitty some loving as he must be lonely. Hope you gor treats though.. Hugs GJ x
ReplyDeleteMaybe the more love Maude gets, the less of a bully she'll be!
ReplyDeleteYou two totally deserve treats! :)
We definitely think you deserve treats for having to watch your mom cheat on you with a kitty! The horrors of it all!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots
Maggie and Mitch
I'm glad that you didn't mind your mom petting her. You are probably right, poor girl is lonely.
ReplyDeleteYou know they say bullies usually act out because they are unhappy at home, Zim. Maybe that's the problem. It was good of your mum to pat Maude. And of course you should get a treat.

Beware of feline intruders we say - they seem to have a sneaky way with humans!
ReplyDeleteStill good of you to share your mom!

Oh Zim - how nice of your human to give some cuddles to the Bully Cat - she sounds a bit lonely, being outside by herself! I hope you get a picture of her next time you see her out your window - I'd love to see her again!
