Photo Finish Friday - National Stare At Your Biped Day

Ha roo, pups and cool cats!  It's me - Zim.  Did all of you get the word that yesterday was National Stare At Your Biped Day?  Oh, sure, my mom actually accused me of making that up, but from what I read on her FaceBook account, a lot of my friends were participating, too -- so it wasn't just me!

After a fun-packed morning, I decided that no matter where Mom was, I'd stare at her.  I mean,  you know, I figured I'd participate in National Stare At Your Biped Day (NSAYBD).  I gave it my best while she was at the computer. Check out the special effects she did to this one:

Mom must have liked being stared at, because she took half a million pictures of me. Here's another; she did the special effects to both of these with PhotoShop Elements 9.

Me again, on NSAYBD

Mom realized at some point she was missing a golden opportunity for an outdoor photo shoot, so we went outside and took a few shots with that big plant medley on the front porch.  Check this out:

Mom took advantage of NSAYBD and took this picture

I was only looking at her because of NSAYBD. It made her really happy to get smiling at the camera.

I kept up the staring through the afternoon and finally, FINALLY Mom got the mind-meld message I had been sending. Here we are, heading out the door to go for a RIDE!!!

"Let's hit the road, Mom!"

Notice I kept the stare going! It was kind of taxing on me, as you can imagine, so after our ride (Dave went with us, by the way!), I had to get some down-time.

A very contented me, after a day-long NSAYBD celebration

As many of you know, we Siberian Huskies work well as a team - it's in our blood.  We're team players all the way!  Dave could tell I needed my break, so he stepped into the harness and took his turn pulling the National Stare At Your Biped Day sled.  So to  speak  write.

A great team effort, don't you think?

Did you celebrate NSAYBD yesterday?  What were you able to tool out of your biped?  If you forgot to celebrate yesterday, give it a spin today!  It's great fun!

Play bows,
Zim

I was admiring particularly the plant medley photo. What tune does it play?

I like a nice melody while I am staring........

  5. We just love that first photo, Zim. It's a staring winner!
We don't think we did much staring yesterday. Mom and dad are always busy on the roof and we're not allowed up there.

    Love ya lots,
    Maggie and Mitch

  8. All that staring at mom. Doesn't it get boring? No wonder you recovered with the head under the furniture nap.

  10. Aww Zim, you're so cute and funny!

I took care of the staring all day today.

Mom wants me to tell that sweet potato vine is beautiful. I think it looks pretty tasty myself.

  11. I stared for as long as I could, but I didn't score anything. I must have done something wrong.
