Serene Scenery Sunday

Woo, everypup and everycat.  It's me, Dave, here with Serene Scenery Sunday.  We helped our Mom take lots of pix of our gardens this week (mostly by staying OUT of the gardens... isn't that odd?) so I'm going to cut the chit-chat and just get right to the photos of flowers - OK?  Let's go!

Mom planted some purple petunias by our mailbox:

Aren't they nice?  I ❤ purple!  Oh. And see the white petunias in there?

She actually didn't plant those this year, but they came up anyway. They're doing better than the purple ones. Go figure!

Remember the pot full of coleus and other stuff that Zim and I have posed by? One of the other things in that planter is petunias!

Red ones!  The Kansas wind keeps knocking the planter over, so it's on the front porch now, where it's a little more protected. We'll show you a pic of that another day. How about a rose bud?

Nice, isn't it? And smells good, too.

Remember the Day Lily I showed you last Sunday? It's in full bloom now:

The other Day Lilies are also filled with blooms; here's a shot Zim and I like:

Isn't the bug cool? Zim and I thought so!

Here's a line-up of Becky Daisies:

Right next to them is the Butterfly Weed:

Also blooming in the backyard are the Rose of Sharon bushes! Here's the purply one:

That one's my fave! The three white ones are blooming, too; here's a flower shot from one of them:

And right beside them is the Crape Myrtle! Have a look:

They didn't do so well last year, so Mom is very happy to see them looking so good!

I hope that has you all feeling serene!  Stay cool and stay safe!

Luv,
Dave
