Special Effects Saturday!

Ha woo, everypup and almosteverycat!  It's me, Dave.  Mom's been playing around with a cool new (to her) app on her iPhone called Instagram and we thought we'd share some of those pix with you!  Ready to take a look?

This one is of me, working in the outer part of the Studio:

Doesn't it look cool and dreamy? Speaking of cool and dreamy... here's my kid brother Zim:

He was guarding the bed. I decided to help him. Here's my action shot:

I think you can tell we're hard-working pups, can't you?

Here's the sunset from the other night, with the Instagram stuff done to it:

Is it me, or does it look like the sky's on fire?

Here's another one of Zim in Australia:

IMG_3105 Zim

It looks more like he's in Canada there, but he insists it was Australia! OH! And VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: A few of you asked if Zim was off-lead for the last shot in yesterday's post. It does look like it, but you should be able to see the leashes in the pic above. Mom secured one leash around the flag pole, then looped the other leash through it. So, technically Mom was off-lead, but Zim was not.  We are Siberians and we just cannot be trusted not to run off!  (Mom is semi-trainable in that respect.)

Speaking of my mom, here's a shot of the two of us watching a movie:

That's it for the Instagram pix! I hope you liked them!

Before I sign off for the day ... did all of you see the full moon last night? It was the Thunder Moon - here's the best of the shots we sent Mom out to get:

Everyone sing it with me!  Woooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

Keep cool!  It's going to be another scorching weekend here!

Luv,
Dave

  2. I'm so glad you were well protected by that leash! Don't forget to give your Mom pats and praises for being so good off-leash :-)
On the other hand, I am a good girl at heeling on our morning walk for Mom. The only time she has to remind me is when a squirrel gets into my field of vision but she still carries that leash. Dad takes me for our lunch and supper walks and even with a lot of training sessions he just doesn't get that I respond to calm, assertive (thank you, DogWhisperer) commands. It's fun to put him thru his paces hahahahaha.

  3. Those are cool special effects! The sky did look like it was on fire! So we guess it was a special effect that made Zim look like he was off leash! I trust my mommy off leash but maybe that's because I'm an Alaskan husky which isn't so far as Siberia so you guys need to run to get there whereas I can walk. Or maybe it's because my mommy is just old and slow! :)

  4. Very cool photo effects! I don't let my mom off leash very often, either. She's still working on learning to follow smells and such. Unfortunately, I think she might 'smell challenged.'

  6. Mum and dad said that as they were driving home from their day trip along the Great Ocean Road, they could see the moon coming up and it was amazing! I think the pictures of you are more amazing.
