Mom thought an outdoor photo shoot with our treat jars would be a good idea. Better lighting or something like that. She had already touched our treat jars, so Zim and I couldn't hear a word she was saying -- all we knew was to sit and to be calm! Here we are:
Me and Zim - and the treat containers! |
Don't we look focused and alert? And calm? And sitting? That's one of the first things both of us learned when we were adopted: no treats until all fannies are on the ground. See what a hard life we lead?
Anyway, here's Zim with his treat jar:
It got kind of fogged up, because his Stinky Goodness Treats have to be stored in the magic cold box.
Here I am, with my treats. Mom put one on top for me to admire until I got the "OK"!
It's a yellow Old Mother Hubbard cookie. They're chicken flavored! I also have a bunch of Nutro Max Mini Bones in there; they're quite tasty, too!
Oh. Did anyone notice the third treat container on the quilt? Well... since Mom does help us with the blog, we thought...
"Mine!" |
Wow. She didn't even sit first or anything! Ha woo.
Now to take some treats over to the shelter! Thanks for a great idea, Moo and Jack!
Luv,
Dave
Great idea giving treats to the shelters!! they can always use food, treats, blankets etc. You are so GOOD with "fannies" on the ground and waiting for the OK. Nice treat jars and glad your Mom got some too. Jelly Beans yum...

hehehe I like your mom's idea! the town Jason grew up in, Wakarusa Indiana, has a dime store that sells giant jellybeans. good stuff!
ReplyDeleteOh darn...I forgot all about this but your treats sure look yummy.
ReplyDeleteWe think hu-dads and hu-moms should have to sit to get their treats, too. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteMom likes the pink Jelly Beans best! You guys are too cute!

treats for everyone!!! Our treat jar isn't very fancy, but mom says the important part is it is plastic and the lid screws on... MOL
ReplyDeleteDave, you have a lot of patience to not eat that treat until your mom says okay. I don't have any patience! Zim, we're glad you are okay. We knew about the hoodie but didn't realize your stolen furs weren't found yet so we got concerned that it was a second fur theft. We hope your furs come back soon!
ReplyDeleteWoos,
Sadie
PeeS: We're watching K-State and they just intercepted the ball again. Phew! They're down by 3 but we hope they come back to win! Go Cats! (I only say that on game day!)

Hmmm....seems like your mom's has the fewest treats in it.
ReplyDeleteYou should have made her sit with a treat on her nose until you said so!
