I decided to kick back and watch a little football yesterday afternoon! The KC Chiefs had the late afternoon game, which fit in perfectly with my schedule. I did my best to cheer them on!
I must have done a good job, because they stomped the Oakland Raiders 28-0. (Sorry to any Oakland fans out there!) We had watched a bunch of college games on Saturday, so I was in good practice. Most of our teams won then, too. Maybe all of them. I can't remember.
And of course, let's not forget the World Series! Dave and I had to keep tabs on how that's going.
"Are the Rangers doing good? I can't look!" |
Dave gets pretty wrapped up in his Texas sports teams! (And he must have been a good watcher, too, 'cuz the Rangers WON! The series is all tied up at 2-2!!!)
So... that's our weekend in review. A mighty busy one. We might need to rest up a bit today.
Play bows,
Zim
I was super excited to get a break from longhorn football I actually got to spend a day shopping!!! Scott on the other hand was glued to the TV with football...sigh.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you boys were football fans. :) You makes a great cheering team lol.
ReplyDeleteAlso wanted to mention I got your comment on my self timer post, but didn't publish it because you used me real name hehe. I don't use it on my blog. :) Thank you for your sweet comments. I think some of those rocks would look fantastic in your beautiful garden. If I could get some of them to you I would. :)
Yeah Dave! Texas sports are the best! We live in the Dallas area, so Mommy is all wrapped up in the Cowboys and Rangers right now! I usually curl up at her feet with a nommy raw hide bone! Sundays are great!

Your team did great! Congrats! It is fun to win. I am just going to call this a practice year for my Vikings. However, yesterday made me have hope with our new QB....
ReplyDeletewow - busy weekend!!! Thanks for the note about football: we are just glad mom watches sometimes over with the grandparents so we don't have to listen to her yell at the tv. :)
ReplyDeleteWow busy weekend! We like whoever beats the Raiders

You've made me very tired with all that activity. I think I'll go take a nap.

With all the activities you did over the weekend, we're surprised you were able to stay up to watch those games! Around here, it was rather noisy so we couldn't nap if we wanted too but it was good noise because our mommy and daddy were happy the Chiefs were kicking Raider booty!
ReplyDeleteWoo, what a busy weekend woo two had! Woo really know how to pack it in! We're watching the World Series too, but mom & dad are St. Louis fans. (so I guess that means we are too, ha-roo roo) They're both great teams, fun to watch! Did woo see Albert Pujols's in game 3? WOO-HOO!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy tonight's game!
