Oh, yes. Right about ... here:
Mags and me, shoulder to shoulder
"Here" being on Eagle Pass Trail out at Tuttle Creek State Park. We were merrily hiking along when Dad spotted a Bald Eagle! He held our leashes while Mom crept a little closer (but not so close as to disturb the majestic bird -- remember, she shoots with a 600mm lens!). She saw the eagle perched high above:
He had just finished a snack and seemed quite pleased!
"Best shad I've had all day!"
Then he took off in search of more fishies:
We posed for a photo at the end of the trail:
Me, Dad, and Mags. Dad's the tall one.
We looped back around via the road and that's when ...
See? There is something for everyone at Tuttle Creek!
I took a moment of quiet reflection at the River Pond ...
... then we headed home.
"Mags? You had fun, didn't you?"
"Oh, yeah, Cam. Ohhhhh, yeahhhhh!"
"I did, too!"
I hope all of you had fun, as well! Thanks for coming on our walk with us!
