"Cam! 11 o'clock! Check it out!" "It's the Easter Squirrel!" |
Can you see him up there in the weeds? Let's zoom in!
"Uh-oh!" "SQUIRREL!!!" "Remember my wrist, Cam!" |
Don't worry. I didn't pull Mom at all. I did stare at the Easter Squirrel, though! He decided it would be best if he hopped on up the tree. Smart move.
Further along on our walk, we saw the Easter Bunny!!!! LOOK!!!
"It's the Easter Bunny!!!" |
He didn't say anything. He didn't even move! It had to be him, though!
"He must be exhausted from doing all of that 'hippity-hoppity' stuff." |
Delivering all those baskets full of eggs and treats must have worn the poor guy out. We just left him there and quietly continued on our way.
It was quite the exciting Easter walk! We hope your day was as exciting as ours!
Cammie!

ReplyDeleteMaybe the bunny was holding still in hopes you would not see him. Looks like a high adventure stroll!

I always grab the leash and give it a tug to let mom know there's a squirrel in our path. The Easter bunny was playing coy with you girls☺
ReplyDeleteSounds like you pups had a wonderful Easter. OOOH those pesky squirrelies are a tease aren't they? I have to give them a chase and a few barks to let them know this is myy yard. It's a game we've played for a few years now.

I think the Easter Bunny learned the same lesson the bunnies in my neighborhood did -- if they stay really still, we'll go away. If they start to run off, we want to chase!
ReplyDeleteYou saw the Easter squirrel and the Waster bunny!
