"I should have known!" |
Oh, sure, we cranked up some good tunes on the way and all ...
"Turn it up, Mom! I like this one!" "I'm on it, Mags!" |
... but still!
I was just going in for my Rabies vaccination, but Mom just HAD to go and tell my doctor that I have been "messing with" my left foot. It's MY foot! Shouldn't I be able to do whatever I want with it? Apparently not. And apparently I have a little puncture wound on my footy-foot. Not a big deal, not infected or anything, but ...
"Well, this is a fine how-do-you-do!" |
Seriously! Is this really called for?!?
"Yeah, right. 'Comfy' my ... . Ha-rumph!" |
This is really a pain in the ... well, the left foot. Hopefully, it'll heal up quickly, so I can ditch this thing.
If anyone needs me, I'll be pouting in the living room.
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
Oh no, the Cone strikes again. We hope you will heal quickly.
ReplyDeleteWHAT!!!! Moms are obsessed with blabbing at the vet aren't they!

Oh no! Not the Cone! But what a shame about your sweet footy foot! We send lots of kisses your way. Yes, our mommy kisses feety feet! She is wierd like that.
ReplyDeleteOh No the cone of shame! Poor PM! This requires more treats or chew time to take your mind off of it!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhhhhhhhh no MAggie bless your heart. I don't know who invented the comfy cone...but they should not be allowed to use 'comfy' in the name until they have tried to eat and play and pp and walk around in it.
ReplyDeleteHugs madi your bfff
we got worried that it was an emergency....then we saw the CONE (so we guess it is an emergency....do you need us to send treats?)
ReplyDeleteHi kit-cat pals! Actually, it wasn't an emergency, that's just the door we used; there was some construction going on this morning. Please do send treats, though! :)

Mags
Oh no - not the evil lampshade, Maggie! I hope it goes back in the closet on the top shelf VERY soon!
ReplyDeleteRATS! They are making you wear that terrible thing? Maybe you can reach an agreement to not lick it? How about if your mom puts some Bitter Apple on it??
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Miss Margaret, I'm sorry you have to wear that crown-but you are royalty and should wear it regally. If you don't, your foot might get infected and we wouldn't want that. Hope it heals quickly.
ReplyDeleteWags,
Noreen and Hunter
We hope your foot heals quickly Maggie. My Margret calls it the cone of royalty as if that makes it any better. I feel for you, I really do. I hope you don't have to wear it for long. ~ nose nudges Belle Pup
ReplyDeleteNot the cone of silence (wait, that was from Get Smart). Still a CONE! We hope your foot heals up. The look on your face when you got there says it all.
