Not Bored Now!

Greetings to all!  It's me, Maggie.  If you saw yesterday's post, you'll know that Cam and I had a bit of the "ho-hums" going on.  But I have to say, we're not bored now!  It's going to take a couple days to fill you in, but this is a quick preview!

It started right after lunch. Mom let me look out the storm (don't worry it's dead-bolted) door for a while, when ...

"Hey, Cam!  Come check this out!  There are some big trucks in front of the house!"

She joined me, so we could both stare out the door.  Remember, we're Siberians -- we don't bark, we stare.

"Oooh.  Trucks and a man!"
"I wonder what's going on?!?"

Cam speculated that maybe the very handsome Siberian who lives across the street was having some more work done to his house, but then ...

"Oh, wait.  I don't think so."
"No ... no, I don't, either!"

It was exciting!  Trucks all in the front, men all over the place - I went from window to window, checking everything out!  For a while, Mom and I went out on the back deck to watch, then she said it could be hazardous out there, so I should go in.

"So ... it's OK for you to be out there, but not me?"

She said I had a good point, and joined me.

I could monitor the action at the side of the house from our Wash 'n Zip bed by the breakfast room windows.

"WOWZERS!"
"I know!!!"

THEN the action moved from the side of the house to the back.  There is a video I'll show you tomorrow, but rather than move the blind myself (I know how to raise our blinds!) I signaled Mom to open it up from the bottom.  I couldn't believe my eyes!

"Not to be redundant, but WOWZERS!"

Major changes, folks.  Major!  I'll fill you in tomorrow -- please stay tuned!!!

Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

  1. You Siberian Ladies best bark and I mean loud. I'm familiar with that kinda a truck. It is driven by tree monkeys who climb up in your trees with ropes and in buckets with very loud saws...just sharing my senior wisdom with you FREE of charge.
