Hello, everyone! It's me, Cammie. The other morning, when according to our mom it was 78 degrees below zero, we took a lovely walk past the Kansas Ocean. She forgot all about the "I can't feel my face" mantra she had been chanting when she saw that finally, after the severe drought and other challenges, there were visitors at the KSO!!!
"Look, girls! Geese!" "Yeah. Canadas." "Maybe they brought the nice weather with them!"
She even shot video as we approached.
Needless to say, Mom was a bit more excited than we were. Still, it's nice to see the birdies returning!
LOL Ladies I'm pretty sure those geese need to change their name to any thing but Canada. I don't think any live in Canada anymore. 78 below zero. was funny. We were walking out doors on Friday. The Time and temp clock was wacko it the temp was registering -43 and we were only wearing light jackets. LOL Hugs Cecilia
We have to agree with Angel Madi's Mom - all the geese have moved to the U.S.A. We can't believe they actually want to be in that water when it is this cold. Even we northern breed dogs do get cold feet after a while.
Brr, thy were in the WATER in this weather?! I don't get that at all!

The geese don't stay too long here in Chiberia - they usually head further south where it is warmer.
ReplyDeleteHow great to see some geese at your ocean. We liked seeing you girls in action in the video too.
