Serene Sunday

Greetings to all! It's me, Mags. Despite the heat coming later in the day today, we had a great walk this morning. First we checked the park for cows, horses, sheeps, etc.

 

"I don't smell anybody yet."
"Me, neither.  We still need to check."

Sadly, the park was a bust.

As you could almost see from the photo above, even though we left the house just after first light, it was already getting hot out there. Probably the most serene part of the walk for us was finding a shady spot and taking a water and snack break.

"Go ahead, Raggi.  You first."
"Is she the sweetest big sister or what?!?"

"Aw, shucks.  I promised our Mama Bebe I'd look after you!"
"Slurpity slurp slurp ..."

"Thanks for bringing the water, Dad!"
"And thanks for the cookies, Mom!"

We made it back home before it got too unbearable out there - so it was a great, serene walk! Have a wonderful Sunday!
