Serene ... Sunday

Greetings to all!  It's me, Maggie, here with Serene Sunday.  Cammie said I could post anything I wanted that we saw this week that gave us that special inner-calm, so I thought I'd take that and run with it in a bit of a different direction.  Yes, much like Siberian Rules Fetch, now that I think about it!  Anyway ... I thought about all the great hikes we've been on, and the new horse friends we made, and about the cool stick I found ... and that was all absolutely wonderful!  One thing stood out, though.  One thing that I just mentioned in passing and didn't show you.  So if you'd just step this way ...

"Check it out, blog pals!"

Isn't it a beauty?!!?

"Let's open this baby up, Mom!"

It was the largest box to hit Ao4 Headquarters in quite a while!

Mom said what was inside the box was for Dad, and we needed to wait to open it until he got home.

"OK.  I love the anticipation."
"Is she savoring the moment, or is she getting a cookie?  Just checking."

Before I knew it, Dad came home and opened the box for me!  I mean -- I just want the box, not what's inside!  Right?

"This is one AWESOME box!!!"
"She's still not getting treats ... right?"

"My treat is this box, Cam!  And there's plenty of room in here for both of us!"
"So ... umm ... "

"Mom?  Where did Cammie go?"

Well, I certainly found great serenity in my box - and I'm sure at a minimum all of my kit-cat pals stand with me, right?

We all find peace and calm in different places and in different ways. Whatever path suits you best, I hope you'll have time to soak it all in today!
