Ha roo, pups and kit-cats. It's me, Zim. Do you know how to tell if Mom's going to bake some fish? Check the audience!
Left to right: Dave, me (Zim) and Am in the background...
Oh, it's not just Dave, Am and me. Really. Let's peek around the corner.
...and Storm, a bit further to the right.
It was Tilapia. Can you blame us?
In other news, the snow you saw on yesterday's post didn't amount to much - only about half an inch - so I couldn't build a cool snow fort. Dave and I did do a bit of this, though:
It was great, as you can imagine.
I hope all of you are enjoying the weekend!
Play bows,
Zim
Oh...
ReplyDeleteDidn't woo get the memo?
It isn't fish any more...
It is sea kitten/khytten!
Hugz&Khysses,
Khyra
PeeEssWoo: SNOW!!!
yes, sea kitten apparently from Wally's blog!
ReplyDeleteI am partial to sardines myself, I like the picture of the audience!!
Happy Weekend to youse too!

I got that sea-kitten memo and nearly horked up a hairball! Fish! Glorious Fish! So, did you guys get any fish? How about some nice fish juice on your kibble? mmmmm-mmmm!
ReplyDeleteDid you all get to eat some too? Fish is my very best favourite!! Look like you don't need my salmon after all, BOL!
ReplyDeleteThanks Stormy and Amber for saying I look cute! *blushes*
~lickies, Ludo
We had Sea Khytten last night too! Momma made the extra just for us.
ReplyDeletePrincess Eva
Woo! I'm a "fish detector" too. I am so disappointed when informed that the human dinner menu is "not fish". My Eagle Pack Holistic dog food is fish-based, so that helps... a little...
ReplyDeleteRubi (Denali's redhead sister)
Mom gves us catfish chunkies sometimes for dinner. We've never had Tilapia tho, is it yummy?
ReplyDeleteWe had salmon last night - well, mom and dad did, but we each got a taste! It was yummy!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
Hi, friends!
ReplyDeleteI like to be right in front of the stove when is cooking time!
But I've never had fish! Is it yummy?
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
I think Storms has the right idea...front of the line and holding! Sea Kitten is some goood stuffs! Mommy doesn't make it a lot, cause she's not the best cook...but a pirate named Long John sends us some now and then. Or a Captain named "D"...HaRoooo!!
ReplyDelete**thinks mommy needs a cookbook**
Mya Boo Boo
My mom buys me trout and sweet patata food, and last night she put a little salmon in it too. Spencer thought it was the best!
ReplyDeleteI liked the pics of the AOF waiting for din-din. Cute!
Kisses,
Stella
Eh, did you get any of the fish you waited so patiently for?? At least (most of) you are polite enough to stay at the kitchen door! Can you come & give the Beagles some lessons pls? Rosie once jumped up onto the cooker and dove straight into a pot of soup i'd made, good job it wasn't hot!
ReplyDeleteOh, and thanks for your lovely comment :o) you do a pretty good job yourself!
Slobbers xx
haha you's all has good nose to smell fish!!
ReplyDeleteI'z hope your's mom let you's all eat somes!!
<3 Apple
Hi!
ReplyDeleteI hope you got to eat some yummy fish - or I mean- sea kitten.
-Tibby
For some very odd reason, when our humans are cooking, we are "outside." Something about being more helpful that way.
ReplyDeleteHope you got to eat some of that fish for how patient you were being =)
ReplyDeleteWe just loooove salmon, er sea-kitten salmon - oh whatever! It is yummy in R tummies!!!
ReplyDelete-da boys, Cosmos & Juneau-
Yum! I love fish! I hope you got some. :)
ReplyDeleteMochi
Harooo! Tilapia is great!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, come to our place to make snow forts, we have oodles of snow... and it just so happens we could use some friends with longer paws... we can't reach to put a roof on our igloo!
;o)

Now I know where Ari got her kitchen moves: she stole them from Storms! If you ask the canine naturalist, she'll tell you SHE perfected the slouch-across-the-cabinet pose. Highly effective, I must say.
ReplyDeleteSnow wrestling is great fun! Our mom doesn't like fish much, so she never cooks it so next time your mom cooks tilapia, do you think I can come over?
ReplyDeleteSteve
Looks like Storm is going to get first dibs on that fish!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great time playing in that little snow you had. Love the action shot!
Fish sounds great..
ReplyDeleteHey a little snow to play in is better than none like here in Texas..

YUM....fish! Talapia is quite tasty. (at least that's what Mom says) I've never had any...only salmon for me. Maybe Mom will make some soon. LOVE the "check the audience" line. I hang out close to the kitchen whenever Mom's in there too. Glad you got to romp in the snow even if it was just a dusting. :)
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Nala
Fish, did woo say fish???? WE all wuv fish, any kind as long as it isn't plain fish kibble. Tuna, mackerel, swordfish, salmon, woo name it and we wuv it. Hope woo all got a taste of the sea.
ReplyDeleteWoos, the OP Pack
My bipeds had that tilapia the other night too. We got to taste some and it was very yummy!
ReplyDeleteRoyal Kisses, King Skyboy
Inquiring minds want to know ... do you get any of the fish?
ReplyDeleteWe never get anything that Mom makes for herself. She has some stupid rule about people food being for people and dog food for dogs. All we can say is we would share our kibble with her ...
Roxie, Sammy & Andy
Hi guys,
ReplyDeletejust been catching up with your last posts. Firstly Happy Adoption Day and Honorary Birthday to Dave. You guys seem to be lacking all the white stuff that you got last year. Its quite mild here this year, the plum trees and some cherry trees are already blossoming! We love the pic of all you guys hanging out in and around the kitchen. We love fish too but mum rarely lets us eat it - except for a bit of sea chicken now and then.

Look at all those banananananas on the counter!! We love Tilapia around here also!
ReplyDeleteMom has the nerve to shut the kitchen gate leaving us on the other side when she makes tuna. I think that's so unfair.
ReplyDeleteECHO
hehe... we love how you are on guard near the kitchen when food is around...
ReplyDeleteLove,
Holly & Zac
