Look Into My Eyes...

Ha roo, pups and cool cats. Do you know what I really feel like doing right now? Working on one of my really cool snow forts. Mom doesn't really feel like going out into "the cold" right now. I just can't understand that; where are her priorities? I've got to work on her... wear down her resistance.

Let me start the mind-meld: Look into my eyes...

Look into my eyes...

Yes... yes, that's good. Take a deep, long look. Take... me... out... to play in the snow...

This shouldn't take too long. This look usually melts her heart in no time. Oh! Shouldn't have said "
melt"! I better get out there fast!

Play bows,
Zim

  5. We love doing the Siberian Mind Meld, but we seem to be losing our touch since our humans took us to the beach and away from all of our precious snow. Hrmph.

  6. The snow is great fun - keep up with those eyes - we know it will work!
We don't understand why our humans don't have as much fun as us in the snow.

  7. Totally under your spell. My grandma had a dog Jody that looked JUST like that picture. I loved her so very much. We have a lab and a golden, but I am hoping someday my husband will let me get a husky to bring into our family as well!

I am new to your blog! Come on over to my blog and follow back if you would like. It is very nice to "meet" you.

  11. hey Zim........

Seeing as my house is full of yummy stuff, turkey, treats, you name it....

I have tried my very best at the Look Into My Eyes scenario.

But they got well fed up with me today, I had eaten the turkey giblets, had the bacon fat from their breakfast, been given some treats on the sly from my Jeannie, and even nibbled on a ginger biscuit. Still I had the "sulks".

So much so, my Dad tripped over me in the doorway, because my sulk was so looooooooooooong I took up a lot of room!

Here is my short ode. Tell Dave I am into short odes, taken an example from his brilliant Haiki Woos.

    "Look into my Eyes

    Not up into the Skies

    Please hurry up and begin

Before the snow outside is thin."

Not quite 17 syllabubs, but I will make sure my New Year Resolution is to be more concise.

or as a Short Poet would write.....

    "Concise Is Nice"

Not exactly your Jacque Brel, but just as well.

  19. With eyes like that, you don't even need to bat your eyelids. I don't have funky eyes like that, so I have to pant my tongue and do other cute things to get attention.

    Your eyes are awesome!

  28. Could you make a snow fort in the backyard? Then your mom could watch from the deck and drink hot chocolate to stay warm.
