When this week started, we had some nice, warm weather! We even hit over 70 degrees F one day! I thought it was a great day to take a walk with my kid brother!
"Isn't this great, Zim? I feel like I'm back in Texas!" "Every walk is a great walk!" |
Nothing beats walking with your best buddy! Especially when it's warm and sunny!
And you can play outside for a longer time before Mom gets cold and wants to go in!

"SQUEAK!" |
We even had sunsets like this:
God's amazing artwork in the sky |
Doesn't that make you all warm and fuzzy?
Speaking of which...
Me and my mom. Warm, fuzzy, and color-coordinated! |
Then... as you know, our sunset scene changed from what you see above to this:
Blizzard of Oz, Part 1, in process |
It came down like crazy! And guess what? A ton more is on it's way tomorrow night and Tuesday.
Zim thought he and Mom should take a spin in the car before the roads get all covered in ice and snow again. Amazingly enough, they ended up going past the Kansas Ocean!

"No ducks today, Mom! The KSO's frozen over!" |
Doesn't it look peaceful and calm? And they had the whole place to themselves!
I hope this helped you feel that inner serenity. I think it did the trick for me.
"How 'bout you, Mom? Feeling the warm fuzzies?" "You betcha, Davy!" |
Have a great Sunday!
Luv,
Dave
We are soooooo glad that you got to have some SUPER out and about time ... BEFORE the Invasion of the White stuffs begins... AGAIN.
ReplyDeleteYou too make me smile. Wow what a piece of artwork by God before the weather changed. Stay warm, stay safe and stay with that fuzzy wuzzy warm glow. Have a super Sunday.

Yah, this is the storm for all of us. I am glad you are getting some of it too. You guys need more snow.....It suits you....
ReplyDeleteIt took us a few hours to feel warm and cozy yesterday after our snow storm. But when we did, we felt just like we feel after reading your post.
Warm and cozy
Bert
Hi there, Happy Sunday to you! Well I can tell you that here in northern Colorado and on the plains, the storm started last night and hasn't quit yet. We were in the mts and coming home today was pretty iffy at times but we got 8" here at home. I think more is predicted and headed your way-so stay inside and stay warm!

So warm and fuzzy here. Sure hope Mrs. Master's work gets called in time for her to get home safe!
ReplyDeleteNora
Well we've been looking out at LOTS of the white stuff. And 70 degrees? A distant memory.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for always making us MOL (that's BOL for you two) when you come by our blog! You make Glogirly smile too.
xoxo, Katie
I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy too! And not just because it's another stinking hot day here.
ReplyDeleteWarm, cozy cuddles are the best - even when the suns out and it's 65 degrees!

Your sunset picture is fabulous, Dave! You have us feeling serene for sure!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
Hi Dave, We are supposed to get some of that snow in a couple of days. My mom says she always loves the pictures of you and your mom snuggling together. I always snuggle with my dad every night when we are watching TV together.
ReplyDeleteMillie
Oh my goodness look at all that snow
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Hey guys!! Don't you just love all the new snow?! We are suppose to get more this week too, but not as much as you are.
ReplyDeleteHey Zimmie! Did you see Khady's giant snow throne? I think it would make a great snow fort for you! So, grab the keys, and my handsome beau Dave, and come on up for some great digging!!!
Hollybollyboo
I am glad you got out before the storm. I hope you can build an awesome fort at least and have some fun in the snow.
