Oh. Before I get started, you might be interested to hear how much snow the storm blew in - am I right? We got - are you ready for it? Nothing. That's right, nothing. All the biped meteorologists said we were in the path of the storm, up to a foot of snow due in ... and we got nothing. You might be wondering, "Hey, Zim. Since you predicted the last snowfall, did anyone check with you?" Great question, readers! And the answer is, "No." Did I display The Snow Look? No. I did not. That should have been the first clue. But hey, at least there's a fresh batch of Stinky Goodness Treats to enjoy!
The process went something like this:
"Did I hear you get the can opener out?" |
Sure. I'm 13 and am getting a bit hard of hearing, but I know when that can opener comes out!
Let's do a little Quality Control, shall we?
"Oh, this is a fine, fine can!" |
I'd hate for us to go to all the trouble without checking the ingredients!
Next up, slice it up and fill the Stinky Goodness Machine!
"Looks good!" |
It's important to oversee every step along the way!
And to clean as you go!
"The cutting board's good to go, Mom!" |
After a bit of clean up, it's time to put the Stinky Goodness Machine out on the screened-in part of the deck. (I still don't understand why we can't do that in the house so we can enjoy the fragrance as it cooks!)
"It's all set! Now to wait ..." |
"It's going to take HOW long?!?!" |
I forgot that it takes a few hours. I thought Mom and I should do something fun to pass the time; I recommended zoomies!
"Chase me, Mom!" |
All part of the process!
I hope those of you who did get this latest round of snow were prepared! Enjoy it for all of us - and if you need any help building a really cool snow fort, give me a call!
Play bows,
Zim

Hi there, We woke up to light snow this morning. We were happy when it stopped but now it has started again. I'm staying inside; Hunter is snoozing on hubby's lap. I need to get my dehydrated back and make Hunter jerky; I'm so concerned with any product on the market(but he loves chicken jerky).
ReplyDeleteStay inside and stay warm friends.
Hugs, Noreen & Hunter
I can't believe you didn't get any snow at ALL! That's not fair.
ReplyDeleteHey, I've been wondering, what exactly IS the Stinky Goodness Machine? I haven't been able to find one under that name. Do humans sometimes use it for something else?
We don't have any snow Zimmie. We just have lots and lots of rain. And it's hot. It's not fun, really.
ReplyDeleteWe bet you spent the entire day next to the door making sure the stinky goodness treats were cooking away unharmed, Zim!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
All the crazy snow pictures we have been seeing, we thought for sure you were making the biggest fort ever. Well at least you got a fresh batch of Stinky Goodness Treats.
ReplyDeleteThe silvers and more
No snow? That's too bad! We were hoping you would have to make lots more snow forts Zimmie! At least you got yummy snacks anyway!
ReplyDeleteThe weather peeps are predicting lots of snow here too. Right now it's just raining, but it's supposed to turn to snow soon. At least you got some new stinky goodness out of it.
ReplyDeleteMillie
Stinky goodness sounds wonderful. I am sorry you didn't get any snow, but as long as you have stinky treats life is good.
ReplyDeleteLoveys Sasha
So why again does it have to cook outside? I don't understand. I would think part of the process and fun would be the smells that would fill the house. Sometimes I wonder if the humans noses even work. Well at least you are prepared now, for whatever comes, snow or shine.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
Looks like you are well prepared
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
I am glad to hear you are all safe!!
ReplyDeleteHappy to see you were ready for the snow....I am ALWAYS ready for snow! Enjoy, my friends!
