"This way, Maggie!" "Come on, Mags!" "I ... umm ... you guys!!!" |
There was something I needed to do first.
No, not that. I needed to get something!
"OK! I'm ready now!" |
"You know what they say ... " |
"... 'Walk softly and carry a big stick!' " |
Or is it "Speak softly and carry a big stick" ... or perhaps "Speak softly but carry a big stick"?? All I know is ...
"Hey, you guys! Look! I have a stick!" |
... carrying a stick is involved!! I got to carry mine the whole time we were on our walk!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
that was so nice of your momma to let you keep that stick.

That's a pretty cool stick!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you sorted out the crossed leash thing. That was confusing me. As for the stick, momma's Airedale used to do that. The rule was that if he could get it through the garage door and into the yard, he could keep it (but sometimes they were too big).
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Dexter
just be careful where you point that thing Maggie :)
ReplyDeleteMOL! Maggie, if you lived in our neighborhood our mommy would get nothing done because she'd always be watching for you to go by on your walks! Of course she'd come out and greet all of you too!
ReplyDeleteERNIE just LOVES doing that. Maybe you two are TWINS.
ReplyDeleteWow, cool stick Maggie!
ReplyDeleteHow comes Zim and Cammi didn't get one too?
You must be special!

I usually carry my sticks attached to my pantaloons. It keeps my mouth free for other things.
ReplyDeleteour Wriggley will sometimes carry his toys out on walkies. hmm...you better be careful, Maggie, you might be playing fetch yet :D

Well Miss Maggie you have stolen a part of my heart. Love your stick. And I see you carry it properly. Just don't poke Zim or Cam-a-roo eye out.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
OMD you and your stick....you should join Goose on Stickwatch MT. Have a fabulous Friday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
BOL I am sure it turns into a fun adventure when you tag along Maggie

You should check your Sibe manual - I'm not sure carrying sticks is part of the SOPs. But maybe there's different rules for puppies and Prime Ministers! ;-)

Queen Natasha says carrying sticks is not just for pups. She is 10 and often carries one. Of course, hu-dad thinks it is because she "accidentally" hits others with the stick.
ReplyDeleteDo you get to bring your stick inside when you get home?
ReplyDeleteNora
You look adorable carrying your stick along on your walkie, Maggie!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥
