"Hello." |
As Cameron mentioned yesterday, we've had some inquiries about bringing back her "Dear Cammie" column. Since we all like to work as a team, we've decided to tackle this together. We'll call it Questions to the Prime Minister (that's me) -- also known as PMQs.
You can read all about why we might have chosen this title here, but our lovely, squirrel-chasing friend Molly put it very succinctly for us:
Prime Minister's Questions (often abbreviated to PMQs and officially known as Questions to the Prime Minister) is a constitutional convention in the United Kingdom held as a single session every Wednesday when the House of Commons is sitting, during which the Prime Minister spends around half an hour answering questions from Members of Parliament.Thank you, Molly! PMQs! I like the sound of that! Might have to change the day of the week, though, what with Wordless Wednesday and all...
"I know what you're thinking!" |
Oh, I know. You're thinking, "Maggie! You're not even 6 months old yet!" True. But like any good leader, I surround myself with experts and am not shy about seeking guidance from them!
In the photo above, for example, I am consulting with Aunt Cammie! And here ...
...well, somewhere close by, is Zim. He's practicing his SERE training (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) and I have no idea where he is. If I needed him, he'd come running, though.
I have other advisors, as well.
"He was here a minute ago ..." |

"Any advice on sturdy toys, Cookie Dog?" |
Cam has worked with Cookie Dog in the past. He must be smart, since he always seems to be rewarded with a cookie.
I also have an English Bulldog advising me:
So - do you have any questions for us? Any advice needed, just ask. We'll do our best. Just leave a comment or zip us an email (it's in the sidebar); FaceBook friends of Mom can leave queries there. We eagerly await your response!
In case anyone was going to ask if I've had my nails done since this picture was taken, the answer is "yes".
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

"I'll just get a little recreation in while I wait." |

PMQ's - we love it.
ReplyDeleteTyphoon here with a question about those crazy humans which he thinks you are perfectly qualified to answer - why are the humans always asking when we are going to grow up? I like being a puppy and I am almost 2 years old.
Shoot Queen Natasha the Evil turns 11 this summer and SHE still acts like a puppy (though I am really careful to make sure that she wants to play before I start. She can also be quite grumpy).

Cammie how is the training going with little squirt

We have a question... WHEN is Spring coming??? It is Toooooooo cold and snowy and windy to think beyond that one.
ReplyDeleteNow let us hope it is not like the real PMQs' where everyone shouts and The Speakers has to bellow ORDER, ORDER all the time LOL. Sometimes it is like an episode form those shows like Jerry Springer. Our questions is should one remain on the straight and narrow as the lady is not for turning????? What happens if I know a squirrel is behind me? Can I do a u-turn??? Does this mean I have no conviction in the path I choose previously? Tricky stuff MT.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific Tuesday.
Best wishes Molly
I don't let mum cut my nails. It's like she wouldn't WANT me to scratch her or something.
ReplyDeleteHear, hear ;-)
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to join in with this!
ReplyDeleteMaggie, do you think I should have my favorite cookie every day after supper or after lunch or(hopefully) both??
I can't wait for your advise

Okay, here's our question. Why does our Mom have to have a camera on hand ALL THE TIME? If it's not her new one, it's her old pocket point-and-shoot, and she just got Dad's old DSLR fixed so she can use that, too. Yes, we are beautiful, but it seems like Mom can't throw a frisbee without a camera in her hand. Is it a sickness? Can she be cured? Or is she going to just have to keep buying more and more external hard drives to store all the photos?

ReplyDeleteMaggie looks so grown up! and gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever thought of painting your nails purple, Maggie? We think PMQ is the perfect name for your column!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥
