"What a lovely time of year to enjoy our garden!" |
I gave it some thought, and decided that all of this week's photos will be ones from right here at Ao4 Headquarters and on our street. Let's get started!
Here's one that made Mom and Maggie feel quite serene:
A semi-tired Maggie after outside playtime with a Wubba |
I'm not sure why Maggie being tired makes Mom feel so serene, but I know Maggie had fun playing with our camo Wubba!
Here is a shot of Maggie and Zim out on patrol, in front of HQs:
"Zimmie! I think that toddler across the street is out with his mama!" "Oh, I love that kid! Let's see if we can go say hello!" |
Zim is shy around most people, but he loves the little boy across the street. Because of us, his first word in English (they are a Japanese family) was "puppy"!
Anyway... that was taken before our two most recent snows. We got a couple inches the other day and another 3-4 inches last night! What a lovely place this Kansas is turning out to be!!!
Here I am, down near the end of Ao4 Boulevard, in-between those two snowfalls:
Lovely, isn't it!?!? And now there's even more snow!
Zimmie and I held a lot of meetings this week:
"I think Maggie's training is coming along quite well, Zim!" "Oh, yeah, Cam! Did you see the hole she put in ... oh. Hi, Mom." |
Umm... in case any bipeds are reading this, puppies will be puppies - and she's only destroyed her own toys. Besides, if you recall, Mom has already broken a lamp since Maggie joined the family, so that gives the rest of us some breathing room. So to speak.
Moving right along ...
Here is Maggie with one of her toys that was recently operated on:
There's a good chance that it's back in line to see the Stuffy Surgeon again. Our little Maggie is such an over-achiever when it comes to chewing!!! We're so proud!
Mom's been playing with aperture settings and stuff on the camera. She took this close-up of me:
Mom said I look very serene, so I thought I'd toss that one in.
The snow really is wonderful, but tires us out. Here we all are, taking a break together:
"Zzz..." "Zzz..." "Let's go outside and play in the snow again!!!" |
Well, OK, it tires some of us out more so than others.
The snow decorated the wreath on our front door:
Doesn't that look beautiful?
I think that's about all I have for this week's installment of Serene Scenery Sunday.

"What a beautiful time of year!" |
I hope you take some time to see all the beauty and peacefulness around you! Have a wonderful Sunday!
Cammie!
Hey there beautiful Cam-a-roo. Oh this is so beautiful. Snow is wonderful isn't it? So much so that MOM surprised me with a little camping trip Saturday to today. We just got back. We slept outside in the mountains in our tent in the snow. Now that was serene. It has been a long long time since MOM took a Sunday off. I am so glad she did, we got to spend some wonderful time together in that snow. And to come home to your Serene Sunday is just perfect.

LOVE the pics in your GARDEN...
ReplyDeleteIs it going to be bitterly FRIGID in KS like here on our hill?
We are TRYING to play out a bit TODAY... beclaws it WON'T be SAFE tomorrow and Tues..
THINK SPRING and GARDENS... SURELY it will come... Brrrrrrr.
We're not so sure Maggie has caught on to what serene means but we enjoyed your post Cammie! It's cute that the neighbor kid's first english word was puppy! Hope you enjoy more cold and snow while you can!
ReplyDeleteWow enjoy the white stuff whilst you can. Here we have another storm coming in and it is mild but mega windy and lots of rain. Have a serene Sunday and get on some big easy today.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
We think you chose an exquisite site for serene Sunday. There is no place like home, and you took good care of guarding your surroundings, too. But all work does not compare to MORE play. Your chats and just seeing the fun in most everything must have made your Sunday the most serene of all.

Oh Cammie! I love the photo of you all up close and pawsonal! Mom loves the wreath. Sheesh...

ReplyDeleteVery serene although I am not so sure about all that snow.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy you got some snow to play in. Will there be a fort soon??

So many beautiful serene pictures. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWe're feeling VERY serene now! Clearly Maggie is still operating on the puppy definition of 'serene' - which seems to have a different meaning than what it means for us adult types (well... Abby may still be at Maggie's definition...). Our Mom has been playing with aperture and shutter settings too. Crazy people - don't they know they could be playing with us, instead?!?

ReplyDeleteSerene Sunday is always my favorite post of the week. I'm glad that you and Zim are taking time to discuss puppy management. I'm sure it takes both of you to wear out that little scamp.
