I did some exploring in the backyard this week:
It was very fun!
Zimmie and Cammie went on a very serene walk together:
"Eyes right, Cam!" |
I wanted to go with them, but Mom said, "Not on this one." Since I got to go on an earlier walk with them and then run around in the yard before they went, I was OK with it.
"Ah! Nice and peaceful, huh, Cam?" "I love walking with you, Zimmie!" |
Cam and Zimmie said it would have been more fun if I'd been there, but they made the most of it and were able to spot a couple cool things for Mom.
Here's a Robin, all puffed up, trying to stay warm:
I wish I'd been there - I'll bet a bunch of that fruit was smooshed up under the tree! Zim and I could have snarfed it down together!
They also saw this nest:
It looks like somebirdie used some Sibe fluff as a nest liner! That made Mom smile.
Doing lots of this over the course of the past week made me serene:
That's Mom, handing me my toy. I like running around the yard with it.
We also played a bit of Siberian Fetch - here's a shot of that:

Yes, that's my toy in the grass behind me. In Siberian Fetch, the biped throws the toy, then you zoom, zoom, zoom past it a few times. It's great fun! Mom really likes it because she gets more exercise running after the toy instead of just throwing it.
All that zooming around made me do something else that made Mom feel serene:
We love the sibe fluff in the nest. We often have folk who ferminate their dogs in the park and all the birds use the hair in their nests. Natures' recycling. Have a serene Sunday and enjoy some big easy today.

It is very serene playing fetch like that. I do it too - dad throws my toy down the hall, I chase after it and then wander back, and he has to go pick it up.
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures. I am also very familiar with Siberian/northern breed fetch. It's a fun game!
ReplyDeleteMaggie, your Siberian Fetch is a lot like our Kitty Fetch :D What a nice picture of the Robin! We are colder just looking at him. Hope you have a great week!

I have been away cause Mommy was sick, but she is better now. I am so happy to be visiting you. I got all caught up and thank you for answering my question so well.

That last picture makes us feel pretty serene, Maggie. The photo of the robin is so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥

Heehee. While we USUALLY bring things back, we will occasionally engage in Siberian fetch - especially if it means that Mom will have to wade through the snow to go retrieve whatever we've decided not to!

Moms are good at tiring us out

Wesa trying so hard not to be jealous of your walks without snow up to your butts, but we are failing at it. So we decided to just go get back in our beds and nap.
