Greetings to all! It's me, Maggie, here with today's post. Some of you may remember, that on
Sunday, Cammie gave us all a nice tour of the backyard gardens here at Ao4 Headquarters. What you might not have seen was the comment left by my mentor,
Mr. Teddy Westlife, that marvelous mancat from Australia. He said,
"I would like to dig in your garden, Cammie. OH! I have just thought of Maggie's next challenge." I may still be a puppy, but I can take a hint! Check it out:
|
"I wonder if this is what he meant?" |
Isn't that great?!?
|
"I can dig it!!!" |
Now granted, this wasn't in my garden ...
|
"Oh, YEAH!" |
... but I wonder if that's what Mr. Westlife had in mind?
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
Mags I can dig it too. MOM lets me have one special place in our yard, well it's not the lawn area, but a spot where I can dig whenever I want. Isn't that GREAT! I don't dig as much as I use to, but every now and then when a bone needs hiding that's where I go.

Hey Maggie! I snuck in, I mean followed Mommy into the garden recently and helped her with the weeds she was pulling. I dug things up so she could pull them more easily. I was a very big helper, but she insisted on doing all of the work herself for some reason. Oh, well, I will help more next time!

Wow! You are the best digger in the Midwest

It is funny how some dogs like to dig and other don't. We have never been diggers ( apart from dweeb when he was wee pup and dug mom's plant pots out). Since then - not a single little scratch hole anywhere
ReplyDeleteWOW! You sure blew that challenge out of the water, Maggie!
ReplyDeleteThat was a lot of digging but somebody! It would have been even more fun if it was mud!
ReplyDeleteI am not very good at digging, but maybe some time you could show me.

It would be wonderful if Teddy Westlife would do an update on his blog - please pass the message - Thanks
ReplyDeleteMags, that is EXACTLY what I had in mind. You are very clever. Also: it's good to practice somewhere else but the true challenge is in digging in your own garden, and then running into the house with dirty paws. My mum loves it when I do that. She always cheers me on and yells my name!
ReplyDeleteWow Maggie, don't let anyone ever say you aren't up for a challenge!

Wow!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness that didn't happen in your yard, Maggie. We can't imagine that your mom would be too happy about that! That is one big hole!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥
